The Bio-Lab, where the bizarre lifeforms of Planet Euthimius are studied. To the north is the Biosphere, teeming with Euthimius life. It is currently locked, accessible only by the key-card of the resident Biologist. While it currently houses no dangerous fauna or flora, releasing the organisms into the station would certainly be a mess. To the south is the Medic Room. To the west is a console with a rubber plug in which organic material can be inserted via syringe. The console will then analyze it to determine the species, as well as any chemical or biological properties that might prove beneficial. To the west is a dissection table, currently empty.

Feral stands at the center of the room, with a large green, intimidating creature crouched at his side.

While there is no response from the Medic Room, you hear scuffling around in there, and what sounds like someone banging on the door connecting the bar to the Medic Room, so you reason that someone is lock-happy.

Suddenly, a series of loud squawks has you looking at the ceiling, when suddenly:

*SCRHCNH*

Out of a ventilation shaft falls what resembles a Hoatzin of old Earth, but a bit smaller and a brilliant shade of purples, reds, and greens, landing on you. It must have made its way here from the biosphere.

Having previously explored Euthimius, you know it isn't a dangerous species (other than its particularly annoying call), but is quite clever, as evident by its ability to escape the tough security of the biosphere. It is currently unnamed, as is much of the flora or fauna of Euthimius.

It seems to have taken a liking to you, as it nestles on your shoulder.

Birair doesn't seem to particularly care about it. Despite a feline form, Birair's species is photosynthetic in nature, obtaining its energy from basking in light, and thus has no reason to hunt.

I've been sitting, locked in this room for so long, that my Birair and my birdy have died of starvation. Guess I'm gonna have to fry up birdy on the lab burner and have roast hoazin and Birair salad. 8,(
