buying a new pc for gaming

Posted July 25, 2011 by OWA

My current PC is trash, and I need a new one. I want a gaming PC that can stream smoothly to JustinTV or Ustream, can handle screen captures nicely, and is all around a badass PC.

I don't really care for HD or HQ, just something that can run smoothly and can play up-to-date PC games. My current PC can't even run L4D... Sad, I know.

Problem is, I don't know what kind of PC to buy. I'm thinking of an Acer gaming PC, but I don't wanna buy anything before I get a few opinions on a few forums first.

If you want me to give you anymore details, let me know. Thanks.

Gonna post in here to get attention from the newest replies forum.

One every 3 hours sounds reasonable.

Depends on how much money you want to spend.

I have a Alienware Area-51 that I spent well over 3 grand for. They do have cheaper gaming PC's and are know for their gaming PC's.

Alienware is beyond my budget. I was thinking something a little more modest. What would be the price for some of their cheaper models?

Around 1200 dollars.

Check Craigslist in your area and see if they have anyone listed that builds PC's. You can build a top of the line desk top for around 11-1500 dollars. Or so I'm told by some people I know that took that route.
