Basic Stuff

  • 2D fixed, which is probably just the best engine for several reasons.

  • World terrain uses horizontal and vertical corridors (hence the project codename) to always have a path in any direction. It generates wonkily somehow so it isn't just a bunch of lines. Every block in between has randomly generated terrain in various ways, so it gets around the tetrad problem in shatterloop.

  • Gameplay is similar to shatterloop's but simpgraded and built from the bottom up to actually make sense. Full keyboard controls, for example.
