The town was thrilled with their recent good fortune, but they knew it wouldn't be all fun 'n games until the last Mafia member was dead. With that in mind, they ventured out to face the new day with a pinch of dread, wondering who might have gotten murdered last night.
Not surprising, one of them was missing. This time it was Apollo Justice. She had been in her house, making a victory piece for the town, when the lone Mafia member sneaked into her room and bludgeoned her with a sledge hammer. Having been one of the major contributors to the town's efforts, she was shown no mercy as she was smashed to bloody bits. Indeed, the victory piece she had made would be her swan song.
Poor Apollo Justice the Townie. May the town remember you for your good deeds with myriads of Phoenix Wright gifs scattered about your grave.
