game 11 sheriff thread

Guess what? YOU ARE THE SHEIRFF! Thus, if ypu shoot someone innocent, you will be making a BIG fault.

You're the Sheriff. During the day rounds, you have the option to shoot someone! Sounds fun right?! Wrong. This is a serious job for serious people. You can only use your gun ONCE in the entire game, and when you do use it, you will be revealed as the Sheriff to everyone else! Sounds like it could be beneficial AND a bother!

When you want to shoot someone, just reply to this thread saying who you want to shoot. You can only do this during a Day Round. I'll try my best to update the game as soon as possible, but I can't guarantee I'll be quick enough to do it immediately. I'll try though, really!

Would the round still continue after I've shot someone? And if so, I assume you would immediately make a reply in the thread announcing my action?

Yep, the round will continue, and will end when somebody gets lynched. I'll try to announce your kill as soon as I can. If I'm too slow, you can feel free to informally announce it before I formally do so.

Alrighty, then this role seems to serve the purpose of saving the number of rounds there are, and hopefully reducing Mafia kills in turn. Seeing how my intuition is fail, I'll probably save my shot for when the Town is pretty sure of a person being Mafia early on, or if it's magically deduced two people being Mafia in the same round.

In the meantime, I have to decide if I'm the incompetent sheriff who bursts in at the last second to save the day, or the corrupt sheriff who serves a tyrannical government... This might take some time.
