Hello, Feral! So far, it doesn't look like anyone else is asking to host, so unless that happens it's all you! Feel free to do whatever planning you want here, and to ask me any questions you like. I can also try to help out with any balance concerns you have and the like, if you wish, or you can opt out of that. Whatever works for you. ^_^

Ah, good. Sign-ups will close tomorrow night after 11:00 EST. I also plan to review the rolls before hand.

Mere days after he had been elected as the town Mayor, Feral was called away on a secret mission. The town wished him well and assured him that they would hold his place for him, but privately they were worried. The Godfather and his cronies, the Janitor, Hooker, and Mafioso had only recently made their presence known, and they had already offed Shadowwalked, Trever Leingod, and weid man. Even worse, Feral's temporary successor, white lancer, was known to be a lazy SOB and wouldn't be much help against this threat at all. The Town would have to deal with this themselves.

Alas, things were even worse than they thought. As the Town trudged back from bidding Feral goodbye, they came across the battered and bloodied body of Helius, the bartender. One look at him, and the Town realized that they had another foe to deal with, for smeared across his chest (in blood, of course) was a message: MY TOWN.

The Serial Killer had arrived, and they despise both the foolish Townspeople and the arrogant Mafia. Every night, they get a Nightkill of their own, and they're stealthy enough so that they can evade any form of detection/nightkill attempts against them. They're going to need that advantage, because as a third party role, their goal is to be the last person standing.

After Helius' death, the Town Drunk burst into tears, and then immediately called dibs on the storeroom. As the new keeper of the town's alcoholic beverages, they decided that it was their job to keep the Town's, ahem, spirits up. Every night, they can choose someone as their drinking buddy for the night, and the two of them will have a grand old time. Drinking beer is distracting work, however, and the Town Drunk has powers identical to the Hooker: they roleblock their target for the night and prevent them from performing any actions. If the Town Drunk doesn't choose a drinking buddy on any night, they drink themselves into a stupor and are Silenced for the next round.

In the absence of a competent leader, the Watcher stepped up and declared that they would help to stop the Mafia. I believe we've played with a Watcher before, but just to recap: the Watcher selects a target every night and gets to see who visited that house (if the Mafia Nightkill that person, just the first person who voted for that person will be revealed). The Serial Killer and Godfather can both escape detection, but the Watcher will see all other visitors.

Not all are as vigilant as the Watcher, however. The Commuter just works here, but they live a few towns over. Every night, they can choose to return home and be safe from all night actions, but they can't do this multiple nights in a row. The Survivor, on the other hand, doesn't even care who wins. They'll be willing to strike a deal with any side, as long as they can get out of this mess alive (they win with any team as long as they're alive at the end of the game). The Lawyer would like to see the Town win, but they're also dedicated to winning cases. They're like a one-person Governor--they select someone each night and prevent them from being lynched during the day (they can select themselves). Finally, one Townie decided to give in outright and become the Traitor. He is attempting to help the Mafia win, but he doesn't know who they are, and the Mafia have only heard rumors of his existence. They'll have to work towards a victory and hopefully not hit each other in the process.

Oh, and there's also a Doctor. So there's that.

The roster:

14. Jo Nathan
15. Count Dooku

17. LLight

10-5-1-1

Roles: Commuter, Doctor, Lawyer, Town Drunk, Watcher, Townie x6, Godfather, Hooker, Janitor, Mafioso, Traitor, Survivor, Serial Killer

IMPORTANT NOTE: Though the Serial Killer shows up on their own in the ratio, they don't want the Mafia to win, so they are added to the Town ratio when determining if the Mafia win (so the Mafia need to tie the number of Town-sided players + Serial Killer in order to win). The Survivor doesn't count towards this ratio, and the Traitor is part of the Mafia's ratio.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTE: The Survivor, who has a difficult win condition, gets a boost in the form of a Bulletproof Vest. This protects them from being Nightkilled, but it only works once. They get an extra two bonus points if they can make it to the end without expending the vest, and they get half of their victory points if they outlast more than half the Town but don't survive to the end.
