It became apparent to all that there was a growing unrest among the citizens of Thunderville. The burning of Castrael's house was only the beginning, for the following day they executed one of their own - Zanic - based on unfounded suspicions. But the night after the execution, a series of shocking events would begin to throw the town into an even greater uproar...
The sound of an alarm rang through the air. The faint sound was enough to be heard by Apollo Justice, who sprung out of bed immediately. A bright red light that was all too familiar to her could be seen coming from her window. She rushed to the window and pulled the curtains open only to see her neighbor Count Dooku's house covered in flames. She was stunned with fear, the fire appearing close enough as to completely obstruct her view. She was horrified. She rushed out of her bedroom to go down stairs... only to be fatally stabbed in the side by an assailant. "Night night, Ms. Justice. Sweet dreams!"
Or so it seemed. For it was soon after that the doctor arrived at the Justice household, just in time to stop the bleeding and successfully save Apollo's life. "You're Apollo Justice, and you're fine!" the doctor said, as they left the building.
Apollo walked outside, only to see the Frustroville fire chief, chiefsonny, walking away from Count Dooku's house. He was, once again, too late to stop the fire in time. Count Dooku could be seen on his front yard, holding back tears. His favorite stuffed teddy bear was in that house... a tragic victim of the fire...
"All that's left are the charred remains of a childhood long forgotten..." chiefsonny declared, as the enigmatic fire chief once again drove off into the distance.
One by one their houses burned, and now it seemed murder was no longer out of the question, as Apollo Justice witnessed first hand. The sun began to rise and the town decided to begin the day with a meeting...
