game 22 night 3 watch what happens now

Posted November 12, 2013 by MajorasMask9

The Dark Age was beginning to show its true extent in the town of Thunderville. There were deaths from both factions, and the town was filled with flames. The citizens became wrought with fear, afraid to walk the night streets.

Apollo Justice had locked her doors and windows. She sat in bed unable to sleep, terrified from the events of the previous night. She knew she was in danger, targeted once already. They would likely return to finish what was started. Suddenly, she heard a knock on her door... She went downstairs to see who it was.

It was the Frustroville fire chief, chiefsonny. She felt relieved to see the fire chief, for she knew he would protect her. "What a surprise! What are you doing here, Frustroville fire chief chiefsonny?"

"Just stopping by to see how you're doing. I heard you were attacked last night. It must have been... alarming." chiefsonny stated. Apollo Justice invited chiefsonny in for tea and the two talked through the night.

"Thanks for visiting!" Apollo said with sincerity, as the fire chief left later that night. She locked the front door and went back upstairs to lie in bed.

A few houses down, Shadowwalked was unable to sleep. Both of his neighbors' houses were burned down, their lack of walls exposing them to the dangerous streets. With a sense of righteousness and overwhelming desire for justice, he braved the night streets to check up on Castrael and Count Dooku. He walked outside and immediately heard the sound of a gunshot ring in the air. The sound coming from Castrael's home. He ran inside to see what had happened only to find the dead body of Castrael the townie lying in bed. She was shot by a sniper. "No... no! She was so young!" Shadowwalked yelled at the top of his lungs, saddened by the death of Castrael.

It was then that a fire truck, driven by the Frustroville fire chief, chiefsonny, was seen driving to the opposite side of town. Curious, Shadowwalked ran in the direction of the truck, only to see a moving shadow off to the side of Apollo Justice's house. Concerned, he went to the back of Apollo's house to see what was going on. The back door to her house was opened.

Shadowwalked ran in through the back door. He knew Apollo was in danger. But the second he ran in through the door he was grabbed by a masked assassin. "Where do you think you're going?"

Apollo heard the commotion and ran downstairs. "Don't move any closer, or he's dead!" the mysterious assassin yelled.

"Apollo, get out while you have the chance!" Shadowwalked yelled. But Apollo knew what she had to do.

She wouldn't let Shadowwalked die. "I won't let Shadowwalked die!" she unknowingly reiterated. The assassin was here for one reason... to kill her. If Shadowwalked got in the way, he would be one more unnecessary casualty. She knew that, if she was killed, Shadowwalked would be safe. "It's me you want... not Shadowwalked... let him go..."

"Apollo no!! You can't throw your life away!" Shadowwalked yelled to her dramatically.

But she knew this was one sacrifice that she would have to make... If only to save the life of Shadowwalked. She knew her death would not be in vain. Apollo slowly walked down and sat at the bottom of the stairs contently. "Leave Shadowwalked out of this... Take me instead..."

"You can't do this, Apollo!" Shadowwalked said with desperation. He struggled with the assassin but it was no use.

The masked assassin, grabbing onto Shadowwalked, pushed him out through the back door and locked it behind him. He didn't need Shadowwalked dead... not yet anyway. He was here for one reason: to silence Apollo Justice. And that was all.

He walked toward Apollo slowly and dramatically. She looked up at the assassin, towering above her, and knew these were her final moments. She lowered her head and held back tears. She didn't want to die... but she took comfort in knowing Shadowwalked would be safe. That with her final act of selflessness, Shadowwalked would be able to live on. The assassin raised his blade over his head, and with one swift, precise swing, lowered his blade. Apollo's shocked expression remained as she fell to the ground. Her sacrifice... would not be forgotten. She was the insomniac.

Shadowwalked pounded at the door, yelling frantically. But he knew it was over. Apollo died for him. He walked home with a new perspective and appreciation for the life he lived. Apollo's sacrifice would not be lost on him.

On the other side of town, The Bandit was seen outside his house. His house burned down by the serial arsonist that plagued Thunderville. The Bandit fell to the ground, pounding at the grass beneath him. He didn't just lose his house. The Bandit was a fan of The Steel Samurai: Warrior of Neo Olde Tokyo. In his house was the largest collection of Steel Samurai merchandise, as well as every episode on DVD and Blu-ray. "Who could do something so CRUEL?" he shouted.

The Frustroville fire chief, chiefsonny, walked up to The Bandit and patted him on the back.

"The fire of your passion will live on, even if the physical loss burns" chiefsonny dictated. He then enigmatically drove off into the distance once more.

The town had a lot on their mind. The sun seemed to take an hour longer to rise that day, as if to mourn for all of the loss that took place in Thunderville that day. The town decided it was time for a meeting.
