game 23 end merry christmas to the living and the gone 3

Posted December 25, 2013 by Apollo Justice

The Chef and Treestump were eager to check on the Town - it was finally Christmas day, and they had a feeling today would be one of celebration.

weid was standing in the Town Square, eager for the holiday and lynching.

"Well I will shoot you in the balls. How does that sound? Unlimited Ammo of spermatozoa powder bullets. It's like bullet bill. Buffalo bills. Go ej manual. I will inject gunpowder into his dickhole. Merry Christmas. Enjoy your lump of coal Hezekiah."

But right at that moment, weid noticed the rest of the Town gathering around him. He figured, as it had just struck 12 AM, that they were coming together to begin the Christmas festivities.

Castrael, the Sleepwalker and Zanic, the Public Investigator were the first to approach him with a big, boxed gift. weid man happily tore into it, and was somewhat confused when he found the contents to be rope and duct tape. Before weid man could react, Zanic whipped the rope out of the box and tied weid man to the Town's Christmas tree. Castrael took the duct tape, taping over the rest of the rope ties for good measure.

The Bandit, the town's Journalist, began furiously writing the events he was watching unfold. "Mmmhmmm.. Alright... Yes...", all while giggling. MajorasMask9, the Prosecutor, swiftly snatched the notepad from The Bandit's hand.

THIS JUST IN: Zanic is the Mafioso, he visited Frustro last night while Frustro visited CtR Black while CtR Black visited Black Yoshi! Also, hey this is The Bandit.

"OBJECTION"

"You know, you're a naughty Journalist. Santa won't be too happy about this...

Your deception amuses me. Not that it ever mattered to me... I had one goal and one goal only. Defeat Noxious and bring the rule of law forward... but at what cost?"

hezekiah, the Town Drunk approached weid man with a baseball bat - it had a very large bow on it, and weid man began anxiously shifting against the prickly tree. "Ba humbug. Here is your lump of coal in your stocking, Hezekiah. Santa is not happy with you at all. He knows you have been very naughty this game." hezekiah scoffed at weid's remark.

"I've been naughty?"

hezekiah began to senselessly bash weid man's torso, laughing maniacally as blood splattered everywhere. "Merry Christmas, big guy."

Helius, the Guard, walked up to weid and stared him in his dying eyes, fading with every second that passed. He held up his gun and shot him at point-blank range.

On this Christmas Day, weid man, the Mafioso, died.

Ha...! It was a nice game. Give my regards to the Chef that cooked up such a masterpiece. Also the Treestump, possessing the power of nut decimation.

Also the Treestump, possessing the power of nut decimation.

Of the few things I did, that was the one that required the most grace and skill

For Christmas I get ALL THESE THREADS TO READ.

It was a really fun game and, if my totally inaccurate reads on every one are any indication, I think every one played a fantastic game. The mafia got a little unlucky/out played with never getting an Interceptor kill, but I think they did great at avoiding detection.

I once again got really, really lucky to pull off that Jo Nathan lynch. It was a horrible play and I'm still kicking myself for it. I don't mind pushing someone in front of a bus there at all, especially given the way the game was headed, but Jo Nathan was not the one to do it, and my second choice (lancer) was almost as bad.

Great job to Apollo and Shadow as well, it was a flawlessly hosted game. If I had to complain, I would say the Virgin role needs to at least be looked at. The trade off of no mafia night kills seems to be worth the lynch every single time to me, especially combined with the way the Public Investigator role works.

3. Yeano +1 (+1 good play/weid man duty)

Are you joking? Good play? Far from it. Weid man duty? That doesn't deserve points.

Good game all around. It got close towards the end and that's how you like to see games play out. The hosts were wonderful and the players were great. :)

Where is my pity point for being murdered before the game started, and being the death that kicked things off to begin with? lol

Really fun game to watch. Major props to the Mafia for what they acomplished as such a disfunctional group. Apollo, you are a natural host.

Weird game for me--I had just enough time to participate actively, but not enough to go in-depth with my attempts to read people--this may have been the first game I participated in for a significant amount of time where I never went back to re-read previous rounds. It was also one of the more intense games we've had because it really could have gone either way...and like I said in the Dead Thread, it was cool to see the third-party roles actually acting out of their own self-interest rather than just picking a side and sticking to it.

Haven't had a chance to read through all the threads yet, but I noted the fabled last day of Game 2 was brought up. Still my favorite game I've played here, but it did get heated at the end...not on my end, but I was just trying to play my role!

Also, Apollo and Shadow, I'm going to be making a post in the mod forum soon and I'd like your input, okay? :)

Alright, brief announcement: Yeano confessed to me a couple of days ago that he cheated in this game by sneaking a peek at the Mafia panel. It doesn't look like it affected the game really at all, but given the admission I have no real choice but to waive Yeano's point this game and ban him from participating in the next game. As it's a first offense, no other actions will be necessary.

What is the Mafia "panel" and how did Yeano cheat if he was Mafia?

December 30, 2013
Hindenburg
Life's path is never straight.

The Mafia "panel" is a page that allows for Mafia games to be set up and allows for permissions to be set up on the various accounts for the game (Mafia only sees Mafia, Doctor sees only Doctor, etc), and it has the list of players with their role next to it.

To access the Mafia "panel" you need to have the link and be set up as a host; however, since Yeano was the first one to host such games.... yeah.
