I’ll make sure I give you a name by Night 2. Even if it’s random.

Here come a lot of “what ifs”

Clarification Questions:

1. I can’t die (either from night kill or lynching) until at least Night 2. Right?

2. If, on Night 2, I replace the person who is to be Mafia killed, will I die as well or will there only be one death that night i.e. the person the Mafia and I both chose. If it’s the latter, and I wanted to be Town sided, this would be the best scenario.

3. If the Janitor hides the body of the person I replace, I take it I will know the role of the person but the rest of the Town won’t. Right?

4. When I replace the player, will their role be revealed to the (g]Town? Assuming the Janitor isn’t involved. I.e. Player X the (insert role) was found dead and his role has been stolen.

I hope those made sense.

My own notes:

If I become the Tracker, I won’t get the previous results. So avoid this.

Must pick a living player to replace. Obviously.

If I replace one of the Lovers, the remaining Lover will fall in love with me. That’s not so bad. We need more love in the world. And I can’t see it really hurting the Town.

If I replace the Oracle, their previous pick won’t be revealed upon their death. So avoid this as well.

If I replace a Townie or the Nurse, it doesn’t really impact the Town that much. If the Nurse was to be targeted by the Mafia, it would be good to replace them though.

I’ll have to see how things are going by Night 2. If the Mafia look like they’re really on a roll, I may try to replace one of them. This won’t actually help their side very much because the only other time I was Mafia, I really sucked. But it may put me on the winning side. Although, I think my role would be better used against the Mafia if I can replace their kill on Night 2 (and survive). That way the Town would only lose 1 player instead of 2. But the chances of me actually guessing who is going to be Mafia killed is not great at all.

And if the Mafia target either the Tracker or Oracle and I replace one of them. That would be good. But again, this is unlikely to happen and I should avoid it. I don’t like taking chances.

I'm not asking your opinion on question 2. Just do I die as well or not?

I don’t see an advantage to replacing a Mafia player. Their numbers would still be the same--3. It doesn’t benefit that side (of which I would be a part) if I did. So I think I’ll try for a Town sided role.

15. Apollo Justice--One of the first to vote Hindenburg to I’m guessing innocent. She is such a strong player. I wonder if the Mafia will target her tonight? Especially if Chief or Dooku turn out to be Mafia. And with OOG communication allowed Apollo is a definite threat to the Mafia. (Or that’s what we thought when I was Mafia.) Hmm. I hate to replace her. But if she is the Targeted Mafia night kill, it would be good to do so. Drat!!

13. The Bandit--He claimed to be a Townie right from the beginning. I know he can lie through his teeth though. But he was in the top 4 to vote Hindenburg so I’m guessing innocent.

2. Redack-- First to vote Hindenburg, so strong Innocent. Maybe one of the Lovers because he was against voting for Feral. Said there were some points against Feral but never was convinced he was Mafia. Whereas PN was. He might be a night kill candidate as well. He doesn’t seem to live long in Mafia.

14. Castrael-- I’m not getting the feeling she’s Mafia She seems to be flying in the wind and not defending anyone in particular or accusing anyone except if they start pointing at her as well. I don’t think she’s one of the Lovers either. Again not defending anyone at all. She was one of the first to vote for Hindenburg so I’m guessing innocent.

11. Jo Nathan-- I really don’t think he is Mafia. He was the only one to vote for Apollo. And since I think she’s innocent, I don’t think the Mafia would so overtly point a finger at her.

16. Speed Bike Pro-- I’m a little suspicious of Speed. Although he is joking around like he did in Game 21 and he was a bored Townie that game. But he is a good players and if he is Town sided I want to keep him.

5. Shadowwalked-- has claimed to be Bad Break Billy although that could be a good way to cover a Mafia’s tracks from the Tracker. No one else has counterclaimed but they could be biding their time. But I don’t think I will replace him either way.

1. chiefsonny-- He says he has a crap role. Maybe Lover? I don’t see that role being that good because if one of them dies the other one does too. Or maybe Townie? Everyone thinks it’s a boring role. The Mafia aren’t too bad this time I don’t think. So Chief probably isn’t Mafia. And he counted me as part of the Mafia for some reason. I don’t think a real Mafia player would do that.

3. Count Dooku-- Has been fairly inactive. Down about losing good roles and ending up with a “boring” one? Jumped on the Hindenburg bandwagon after continually voting for Cas and after it was pretty sure Hindenburg was going to die.

7. Feral-- Moonray is hesitant to vote for him and I’m strongly thinking Moonray is innocent. And Hindenburg jumped on the Feral bandwagon that was going by. And it wasn’t certain Feral was going to die at the time.

4. hezekiah-- Again, fairly inactive. He voted for Cas but he seems to do that a lot. I don’t know how he plays when he’s Mafia. (Stupid glitch! I can’t go back and look.)

6. Pirate_Ninja-- I’m always suspicious of him but that’s because I don’t know what to think of him. He did jump on the Feral bandwagon going by. He didn’t like Feral’s first comment of the round. (It struck me as a little odd as well.) But if Feral is innocent, this would be a good time to add a Mafia vote into the mix.

8. Black Yoshi-- I’ve never played against him before. Speed was jokingly? pointing a finger at him. And Speed didn’t jump on the Hindenburg bandwagon but chose instead to vote for Yoshi. Hmm. He was a little suspicious of me with my seemingly random vote for Feral. But he still voted for Cas. He voted for Cas Day 1 as well.

9. Bubba-- He’s another one I’m always suspicious of. He’s hard to read. And he doesn’t post much early on.

Still thinking… I was really leaning toward replacing Apollo. But I think I’ll go for Moonray. I’m thinking he’s innocent and he doesn’t live long when he’s innocent. I think it was Game 21 when the Mafia killed him off Night 1. And he was the first to vote for Hindenburg. So he’s definitely more in tune with the game than most of the other players.

If I replace Moonray and the Mafia decide to kill him, the ratio will be 3:11

If I replace Moonray and the Mafia decide to kill someone else, the ratio will be 3:10 (3:9 if they hit one of the Lovers).

So the ratio isn’t a big factor at this point

Speaking of the Lovers. It would really bite if I became one of the Lovers and the Mafia killed the other one (effectively killing me as well). [Think positively.]

Oh decisions, decisions… Whose role should I steal? …

Oh man. I really want to replace Moonray. I'm going to kick myself in the arse though if the Mafia decide to kill someone else. His gut feelings are good. (Can I think in circles?) Because he is so good, is why the Mafia should kill him.

Ok question. When does the Mafia Investigator find out the role of the person he investigates? Before or after a Mafia night kill is selected?

I've been away as well. We were filling little jars with honey to give away at the wake in memory of my mom.
