Black Yoshi slid his bicycle to a stop and chained it to the lamp post outside of the Ctrblacksburg Starbucks© store, eager to capitalize on today's deal that he had read about in a Facebook post from Lady Flare.

He barged his way through the front door and instead of seeing a shop full of eager young coffee connoisseurs, he found a crime scene. Several of Ctrblacksburg's residents and [y]Chief MSS[/y]'s finest officers were there to survey the gruesome sight before them, as it seemed that two bodies laid slain on the floor.

Black Yoshi, curious as he was, tapped on the shoulder of the nearest person to him to ask for information.

"Excuse me, what happened here? Is someone hurt?"

The figure turned around and Black Yoshi saw the face of Teddy-Son, the [y]Hitchhiker Who Does Various Household Tasks for Food Instead of Money[/y].

"Aye, I was just passin' through town here when I got a hankerin' for peanut butter. Not a peanut butter-flavored caffeinated beverage, just peanut butter. Turns out this ****hole of a store doesn't ****ing have any. **** this and **** you. NIPPLES."

With that, Teddy-Son walked past Black Yoshi and left the store. Just as confused as before, Black Yoshi approached the location of the two bodies on the ground and gasped when he saw their faces.

"It's a shame, really." This time, the figure talking to Black Yoshi was Bubba. "They were such nice people but it's fitting for those that were living together to die together too."

Black Yoshi recalled the words of affection shared between his two fallen friends as tears welled in his eyes...

Across the shop, The Bandit stood at the counter and waited patiently to be served. "Just because someone died doesn't give these people a reason to ignore me. I'm never coming back here again."

Life's path is never straight.

I was kind of hoping that Feral was covering for the real Cop, but I didn't have much faith in that actually being the case. Unfortunately I don't think his sacrifice was really worth it. If we mislynch today, our only chance is if the Drunk manages to block the mafia's night kill. So, no matter where this discussion goes, we need to take the full 72 hours. No cutting it short like last round.

On that note, I do think it's somewhat suspicious for any Townie to vote to end the round like what happened on Day 3. Both Hidenburg and Bubba opted to vote for hezekiah rather than let the round linger as Apollo suggested, and I really can't see any benefit to the Town in doing that. The longer the round lasts, the more things mafia members have to say in order to avoid inactivity, and the more likely they're going to slip up. I just do not understand why a Townie would vote for hezekiah after multiple people said they wanted to discuss our plans after hezekiah. Maybe you guys can enlighten me into what you were thinking.

The Facebook chat made me giggle a lot. A+ but RIP Lady Flare and Feral (also A+ white lancer and Jo Nathan death RIP (cry)(cry))

I feel like people are maybe hesitant to say anything, which is part of the reason I didn't (I like having something to go on before I post unless I'm into hyper gear or something). But:

I just do not understand why a Townie would vote for hezekiah after multiple people said they wanted to discuss our plans after hezekiah. Maybe you guys can enlighten me into what you were thinking.

My thoughts as well. I asked/suggested more than once that people hold their votes so we could have discussion, but why would a non-Mafia want to NOT delay the round, given the chance? It... really doesn't make any sense, because it was obvious we would have lynched hezekiah anyways, and I doubt if he even contributed that we would have changed our minds. It would have also given Lady Flare and Feral more time to contribute, so now we're down two town members when we could have had more innocent voices contributing, which I pretty exasperatedly tried to get across. Plus, players could have assumed there would likely be two deaths, since Feral role-revealed and gave the Assassin a nice hit target.

Not extending the round was bad for the town and I am disappoint (partially because I <b3 what Lady Flare usually has to say because GEEZ I looked through her threads from last game [Replacement/Mafia] and she REALLY has it together and could have really helped us in discussion).

tl;dr I second the question The Bandit posed.

Back on topic: Feral did mention in his dying breath that he was suspicious of Bubba; must've gotten an innocent verdict but got that vibe off of him. I'll have to read into previous rounds to be sure, but it's definitely something to look at.

cutting Day 3 short does seem like it benefits the mafia more than the town, I agree. My take on the last couple of voters:

I'm wary of Bubba, given the way the last two days ended. He didn't take a stand on the Day 2 tie between Feral and Hindenburg, but came by after the fact calling it "mafia-on-Feral action" like he wanted to distance himself from the possibility of Feral having being lynched. Day 3 brought us hard evidence and some requests for discussion before a lynch, but he cast the final vote that cut short any chance for conversation. The vote result was pretty much a foregone conclusion, but ending the round early still knowingly stifles people who hadn't gotten to speak their minds.

As for Hindenburg, I still don't feel like his role in the Day 2 vote drama says a lot for his guilt or innocence because he simply tied the vote in self-defense - a move that makes sense for either side. Casting one of the late votes that ended Day 3 early is something I find suspicious, but his excuse above does sound like something he'd do. Makes it a believable cover if he's mafia, but he speaks his mind freely enough that I have a hard time being sure.

Ahem...having skimmed over the previous days' threads, a few things do stand out to me with Bubba's behavior, mostly the fact that all of his responses thus far have been one-liners. Last game he was Mafia and all of his posts had at least some depth to them; makes me think he might be innocent this time around.

How marvelous! I find speaking Spanish charming; it’s beautiful and fluidic. I took three semesters of Spanish in college, and a lot in high school. My concentrations in college are political science and international relations; it’s necessary to specialize in some sector of IR (can be religion, geography, sociology, speech, or anything), and my specialization is Spanish. The last class I have to take (next semester) is Spanish Literature.

So...ahem...anyway, Feral may or may not have been right about Bubba, but at this point in the game, a no-kill will cost us the game. Dear God, I hope I'm not as badly wrong as I usually am in these games...

In order to offer something as an alternative, I think the fact that there has been no other discussion for the possibility of another lynching target adds a shred of credence to my innocence. Mafia is a brutal game, but would my mafia partner be that brutal as to not try any attempt, especially when it's down to the wire as in this situation?

Are you all really going to kill me on a feral hunch? I'll be checking on my phone throughout the day. I know not much time remains, but that is my own doing.

Not sure what he is trying to pull with the first statment. Feral going with a gut feeling even if he got an innocent verdict on me would be defying stattistics, especially since my low activity should give him nothing to hang his gut on. Really odd move.

Similarly to how you shouldn't use listening to sounds during night rounds in IRL games of Mafia as evidence, you're not supposed to use the Users tab as evidence in GTX0 Mafia. It's more of a rule of thumb, not necessarily anything that will get you banned from games. Just a heads up for future reference. (look)

Well, obviously not all 3 of them are Mafia - so I don't think the Users tab is generally the most helpful in this case even though it was brought up, and I'm not sure whether or not I should comment on it, but I don't find it suspicious if only because they all usually make long, thought-out replies and don't post sporadically like I/we do anyways. They're also pretty active off of Mafia as it is.

Plus, I'm still feelin' for Hindyburger.
