Hello, friends! Alas, it seems that you've been stuck with the dreaded graveyard shift at the local Hardee's down the block. I hope you like working from midnight until 8 am and I also hope you like being dead because your lack of life is the reason you're here. Feel free to discuss the game and your biscuit recipes but spoilers are EXTREMELY FROWNED UPON. You will not be punished, however, but I will kick your butt so hard that you'll basically be dead twice.

I just looked at that myself. I think she's either the Lawyer or the next Mafia member. I'm unsure about Flare though. I'm keeping an eye on our dear Apollo though.

Boy, hard to remember for sure. I wanna say it's because we thought your high activity level was indicative of you being a power role. Wasn't my idea.

@Cas: yeah, precisely. I was posting in our clubhouse last round, but felt there was no point in posting in the main thread. We had considered the possibility of Feral passing messages for the "real" cop, but decided that was unlikely given how quickly he posted the guilty verdict.

I don't think you could tell me either way even if you knew, hez. It might give too much away.

And I knew it was a bad idea for Feral to come forward like he did with the Assassin running around. But I'm not sure how he could have convinced the Town to kill hez otherwise.

As the host, I'm pleased to see a game starting to come down to the wire (the game will be over already this round with a mislynch) but I must admit that I am somewhat disappointed with the town for reasons that were never any more evident than during Day 2. There just hasn't been very much activity or enthusiasm. Whether or not that is because of the low player count or something else, I don't know.

I've gotta hand it to the mafia for playing this well, though. The trade thus far has been 1 mafia for 4 townies and they are now in a position to win the game.

I have no complaint with Feral revealing his guilty verdict. Among other reasons, it was a 50% chance that he'd have found the Assassin (as opposed to my Hooker), which would've made it much more worthwhile.

I am curious who Feral investigated on Night 1.

Yeah, the Cop reveal was always going to be a risk, but the 50% shot at hitting the Assassin and preventing any double kills may have been worth it. Obviously it didn't work out this time, but depending on how aggressive you want to play it's not necessarily a bad move. For me, it would probably depend on how likely I felt I was to get Nightkilled, which is usually high in my case.

And yeah, sometimes you just get games like this where most players aren't really into the game. I'm not sure that it really has anything to do with the actual setup of the game--I think it has a little more to do with burnout and busy schedules. Doesn't necessarily mean Mafia's on the decline, either--the first time a game like this happened, I thought we had a limited amount of time left, but then we came back and had some of our most exciting games after people became rejuvenated.

Thanks Apollo. But this game has me baffled. I'm getting funny feelings from The Bandit, but I'm thinking it's because he's a power role. Apollo strikes me as Town sided. I don't think Hindenburg is Mafia, probably just a Townie. Black Yoshi I don't think is Mafia either. His comment about being surprised there were 2 kills Night 3 is a little odd though. But if he wasn't paying attention to the game because he's a Townie, he could make that mistake. I would have bet money on there being 2 kills. (Although I didn't think one of them would be me.) {:(}

I think Bubba is suspicious. His last comment on Day 2 and his quick vote to end Day 3. I'd like to hear more from him. He's one I have trouble reading. And Pirate_Ninja. He doesn't say too much either. He did make a few comments about some people on Day 3, but it was all wishy-washy. And Shadowwalked is another one. If the vote headed his way, I would be inclined to vote for him.

Needless to say, I'm impressed with what the mafia have done. Turning an 8-3 into a 3-2 is basically a flawless game by the mafia, with their only casualty coming from a cop check.

Back when I was still alive the mafia had a hunch about who the DA was, and events during Day 4 (no, not Hindy's CONSTANT shitposting... seriously, he better get bugger all for points this game) all but confirmed it in my eyes.

Shockingly terrible playing for you this game, Bubba. You basically signed your own death certificate with that badly worded last minute comment on day 1 and the bad timing with your vote day 2. You basically painted yourelf guilty, not smart for a townie.

Gotta say, the simple fact that Apollo is still alive is suspicious. Her mad skills at this game usually make her a priority target.

Bandit, on the other hand, despite his simmiliar mad skill, always seems to hang on till toward the end.

When activity levels are low, the Mafia tend to have the advantage. Less time for them to mess up and say something suspicious or at odds with what they said before, and a LOT less stuff for innocent players to analyze. It's all up to the Town Drunk now, or the accidental killing of the Defense Attorney.

I haven't paid super close attention to this game since dying. It is interesting that Apollo is still alive, though, given how early she usually gets taken out.
