The residents of Ctrblacksburg all wasted no time in hurrying to bed on this night, the first of what would be many to come in their new hometown. They had gathered from all kinds of places across the globe but found new hope in Ctrblacksburg. The economy in this newly-founded town was booming and the job market was blossoming so that no one was left without a job.
There were four Townies who all found work as Walmart Retail Associates. Simple work befitting simple people.
There was a Cop who found a second calling as a McDonald's Burger Flipper. Some say they flip burgers almost as fast as they can holster their firearm.
There was a Distracted Doctor making the world a more sanitary place as a Panda Express Janitor. It's rumored that they learned ancient medical practices from their Chinese mentors.
There was a Town Drunk who enjoyed serving others as the Waffle House Waiter. I hear there's more than chocolate chips in those pancakes, if you catch my drift.
Rounding out the civil townsfolk, there was a Lawyer who put their degree on hold to scoop ice cream as a Dairy Queen Store Associate. The only thing exceeding their taste for justice is their taste for vanilla milkshakes.
This wouldn't be a true tale of good vs. evil if not for the ne'er-do-wells. As some people nodded off to sleep and others began contemplating how to use their talents for good, the mafia huddled together in the deepest, darkest recesses of the night and began to plot.
There was a Lazy Assassin doubling as a Starbucks Barista. Don't be fooled by their kind service and bright demeanor, they will not hesitate to drop you in the blink of an eye. However, they can only attempt to do so twice. Make no mistake, though, they are still very much a force to be reckoned with. And those frappucinos are dadgummed delicious.
There was a Hooker who found employment as a Taco Bell Window Worker and used their connections to broaden their client pool. Now everyone who wants a happy ending with their crunchwrap supreme knows just the place to visit. That is not to say that everyone returns alive. Or without STDs.
And finally, there was a Godfather moonlighting as a Denny's Bus Boy. Don't be fooled by their modest work, it is merely for making a pretty penny on the side while they build their actual enterprise.
With both sides having drawn their line in the sand, there remained one character yet. A Defense Attorney posing as a Papa John's Delivery Driver. They were not deterred by any petty squabbles over good and bad, nay, all that concerned them was the pursuit of the truth and proving the innocence of their client, whether or not they were actually innocent.
As soon as everyone was settled in, they snuggled under their blankies and prepared for the long road ahead of them.

Cop - Checks someone every night (excluding night 0) and gets a verdict on their innocence or guilt.
Distracted Doctor - Saves someone every night (excluding night 0) but cannot target the same player consecutively.
Town Drunk - Role blocks a player every night (excluding night 0). Can target the same player consecutively.
Lawyer - Picks a player every night (including night 0) to be saved from being lynched the following day. Cannot target the same player consecutively.
Godfather - Shows up as innocent to the Cop.
Hooker - Role blocks one player every night (including night 0). Can target the same player consecutively.
Lazy Assassin - Can guess the role of any player every night (excluding night 0) and if they guess correctly, that player dies. If they guess incorrectly, the target does not die and the Assassin is revealed. Can only guess twice.
Defense Attorney - Randomly assigned a target to protect from lynching. Wins if the target survives. If the target is night-killed, the Defense Attorney becomes a Survivor.

Night 0 will end in exactly 24 hours or once all night actions are in. Since it's night 0, only the Lawyer and Hooker may use their actions. Starting Night 1, everyone will be able to go bananas.
