But hey, you just barely passed! Guess what! You get to be a Public Defender, or more formally, a Defense Attorney! DAMN, what a pleasure!

In order to receive your 2 victory points, you must defend your client fully and with great honor 'till the end of the game. You can still win even if you're dead and your client is still alive. Woo! If your client is night killed, then you will become a Survivor (though the town will not know that you became the Survivor).

On that note, let me take a peek at who your client is....

Ah, yes - Lightvayne! Make sure to protect him diligently from lynching! Don't feed him too many sweets before bedtime and make sure to pick him up from school every Monday Wednesday and Friday! Good luck!

I may just be the worst DA ever. I'm already considering if or how I might convince the mafia to kill Lightvayne. It's not something that I'd work on right away, but will be kept in mind. I should probably hope he's town-sided, cuz there's no way for us to kill a mafioso except via lynch. Or hostkill, I guess.

This may be a quick game, depending on if MM9 is actually mafia. It does strike me as the "right" play to Intercept one of your mafia buddies, but can't know if that's what actually happened.

If MM9 is town-sided, it'd 9-6-1 into N2. With the Ballot Forger around, it's essentially 8-7-1. So if a townie gets lynched today, I think I'll suggest that the mafia reveal, and just not do any kills until they know who their Newcomer is. That way they'd have the numbers to at least tie the vote, meaning they've essentially won.

We'll have to see how it goes.

Then again, the Newcomer hunting for mafia members would be a reason not to Intercept one of them... Either way, I'm not concerned. If the mob starts in on me, I'll just reveal.

Ooh, that's a shame. Now it could be 9-5-1 into N2, essentially 8-7-1. I think I'll need to reveal once the night round starts to make sure the mafia doesn't decide to kill me. But assuming they make a kill and change a vote, it'll still be possible to do the vote tie as originally planned.

That's a pretty rough outcome for me... Likely wl, Flare, MM9 or Ghow were hit by the Ballot Forger (taking their vote away from Hindy). Either that or somebody else was Forged to vote for MM9. Hm. Not sure if I need to reveal. I probably will.

I have no fun night action things to post in this thread... How disappointing! I'm not sure why threads are typically made for DA/Prosecutor with that being said, but I guess it's good for helping to give good playing points.

You could post some of the bits from HIMYM with Marshall being a lawyer (not sure if he was ever shown in the show as a DA, or just a Prosecutor... hmm...). Or courtroom sections from assorted episodes of Law and Order, perhaps.
