I hope you enjoy your time here in my amusement park, I'll be your ride operator, tour guide, and custodian should you need any help. Bumper cars are over next to the Batman ride, just past the kids area. Please be good, I really don't want to have to put on the custodian jumper to clean up a bunch of blood. That's never fun.

Before I let you guys out into the park, want to make sure everyone knows each other and is comfortable. So I'll just go around quick and introduce everyone. I see there's a politician in attendance, how you doing [g]Governor[/g]? I see you're very interested in your own protection, hanging out with our [g]Distracted Doctor[/g]. Probably a good idea, I hear there are [r]5 Mafia[/r] members that snuck past while I was distributing all your Fast-Pass cards. But it's okay, they're all from different gangs, they don't all know each other. What's more, see that guy over on the side looking around carefully? That's a [g]Martyr[/g], more than willing to sacrifice his life to save one of yours. Maybe you fall off the Giant Drop and he cushions your fall, maybe you fall down on the bumper cars and he throws himself into the transformer so the ride shuts down and you don't get bisected, who knows!

So that accounts for 8 of you, but there's more than that obviously. You might not be able to see him very well in the middle of the throng of [g]10 Townies[/g], but we have our very own [g]VIP[/g] in attendance! I'm told this guy's from the FBI, he's apparently the only one in the whole world who knows everybody who's in the mafia. Sounds great, right? Problem is if the mafia figures out who he is, it's over for all of us. So the rest of y'all better keep him alive!

Yeah, I'm not understanding this setup either. I assume the VIP can't tell us who the mafia are, but does that mean he's silenced? It won't take long for the mafia to realize who he is if that's the case. Is he only limited to saying who the mafia are? If so, that means he can just come in and cast a vote, without specifically saying who the mafia are.

I have a lot more questions, but I guess I'll wait for clarification on this first.

The VIP has no constraints on what he's allowed to say. Do note, however, that if the VIP dies the mafia wins immediately.

Also, I notice that I didn't quite explain how the mafia works. Each mafia member knows 1 other, forming a loop: A knows B knows C knows D knows E knows A. For their night kill, they each vote in their own thread. If there's a tie, I'll use a die roll to determine which target is chosen.

Ok so I just read the setup and I think it sounds interesting. The Mafia part kind of reminds me of that one Halloween game we did where the "skeletons" didn't know the identities of each other. It could be a doozy if the VIP dies in the first couple rounds by sheer chance though... Oh well, let's see what happens!

...Fine. If he wants to die anyway, and he apparently isn't going to help us even if he IS a townie just looking to get killed for some unknown reason, it's worth potentially taking a mafia out for. We weren't going to kill anyone anyway because we were probably going to have nothing to go on.

I'd want to just end it sooner, but since some people are jumping off the no kill vote, and I don't see others getting on, I may as well help this out.

As all the guests wandered about checking out the park, one guest was wallowing in self-pity. Lacking any kind of confidence and angry at the world, he decided to end it all, putting on one last show in the process.

All the guests turned toward the commotion when Feral Wolf started yelling from the show stage "I am Mafia!". Some immediately jumped at the chance to off a Mafia while others were more wary, but decided it was best to go alone. However, a lynch would come to late.

Feral Wolf wandered over to the Batman coaster, watching the speeding cars on the rails. Steeling his resolve, he climbed over the fence blocking the tracks and headed over to the spot where the cars wooshed down a hill almost to the ground. Waiting until a car was at the top, he climbed onto the tracks, closed his eyes, and recited The Lord's Prayer. The coaster riders could only watch in horror at the speeding train smashed into Feral, killing him instantly and sending his body flying.

In utter shock, the guests all gathered around the corpse, glad that at least it was a guilty criminal who died... or so they thought. Faces paled and stomached knotted when Feral's guest pass fluttered to the ground next to the body with only one word written on it, Townie.

Feral Wolf wasn't a Mafia at all, just a deranged and suicidal vanilla townie.
