Checking your phone to see what time it is, you realize those sleeping pills you took to make the bus ride home from the amusement park must've been stronger than you thought. It's not just a few hours later, it's 3 full days later! Despite the prolonged nap, you're all still tired somehow. We'll meet again in the morning, okay?

Each night, the Mafioso tries to recruit one member of the town. If it's one of the mafia in waiting, they'll join the mafia thread with the next role in this list: Ballot Forger, Hooker, Ninja, Mafia Investigator, Assassin.
Mafia collectively nominate 2 people to night kill each night, target will be randomly chosen from among the town-sided nominations.
Distracted Doctor can repeatedly target if previous saves were successful, as with last game.

No OOG
Night talk only on Night 0, intended primarily for purposes of questions about the game.

24 hours or all night actions.

Playing aggressive this game should work to our advantage. The mafia are only going to grow more powerful with time, so waiting to start killing can only hurt us. We're also more likely to get team kills since none of the mafia know each other.

I know it's not Day1 yet, but I'd like to see a kill when the round starts.

Sorry, that would've been a good thing to mention in the OP. I thought the possibility of the mafia being completely in the dark would've been too drastic a swing in the town's direction. If all "known" mafia die, I'll randomly pick one of the "unknown" (waiting) ones to become a vanilla Mafioso.

Same rules as last game regarding inactivity: 2 day rounds of silence will result in a host kill (minimum total duration of 3 IRL days).

Oh coo, I've been waiting for the game to start.

I agree that we have a good chance of hitting a mafia member due to the ratio. It's also beneficial to take that chance due to our ability to the mafia from having power roles by killing the recruiter or the person he's about to recruit

This is an interesting set up. And it looks like the Mafia are having good luck since there is now a Ballot Forger.

Speed sounds like he is joking around. I don't want to vote for him based solely on that.

Normally I'm all for the usual Day 1 No Kill, but with this setup it would be far more beneficial for us to play aggressively, seeing as the Mafia a) don't know who one another are until they are recruited and b) cannot kill one another this time around (Hezy please correct me if I'm wrong...?). Playing the way we usually do this early in the game with that setup will surely cost us the game. I'm tempted, therefore, to throw caution to the wind and give you all my money toss in a random vote since we have nothing to go on save Speed's joke, which I'm counting as a joke since it was literally the first post this game, but from my experience, random votes tend to backfire, so holding off for now.

Correct. No mafia member started the game with any knowledge of any other mafia members.

Correct. If both of the mafia's nightkill nominations are mafia members, neither will die.

I do agree that in principle it's better to play this game more aggressively than usual--as Bandit said, the Mafia are only going to get stronger as the game goes on. That said, I still don't think a completely random vote is the way to go since we've always got a better chance to hit one of our own than a Mafia member. It's also worth noting that even if we do hit a Mafia member, it doesn't really give us any information about the rest of them--having the Mafia not know one another is a double-edged sword.

Questions for hezekiah:

1. Will we be informed when the Mafioso hits a Mafia-in-waiting? Did they get to attempt this on Night 0?

2. For clarification, the Sleepwalkers are not aware of their condition, correct?

Yes to both. I didn't explicitly say so in the Day 1 post, but Lady Flare was the first to notice that there are now 4 Mafia-in-Waiting and a Ballot Forger.

Immah agree that an aggressive play style works best this game, but also to keep extra attention to what everyone says. Since the Ballot Forger was already recruited on Night 0, I'm betting that the Mafia-in-waiting are already trying to leave hints to be recruited (that, or there's some serious cheating going on here >:0).

In other news, is the insane role hidden?

CtR and No Kill options were both extremely close a few minutes ago, so changing your vote from No Kill to yourself is pretty much a vote for CtR.

Night 1

Good news! The Doctor determined the cause of the adverse reaction to the sleeping pills, turns out it was just some of the exhaust from the train combining with it to cause an adverse reaction. Nothing nefarious going on there.

As for the rest of you, after a few stops and starts you determined that CtR Black was destined for death. Was it his black heart? Or the fact that deep down you all knew he was a Mafia-in-waiting? Either way, he's dead now.
