Jo Nathan, in some sort of sick minded delight, eagerly runs to the arean to see what drama might have unfolded. Maybe he wished to hard for violence, because a pokeball containing a fainted Pokemon does indeed sit on the floor. Realizing his short-sitedness and knowing his responcibility, he takes the ball over to the PC and tranfers the fainted Pokemon to PC-Box 2. He can only groan in deapair and disgust, at both himself and the Mafia, as an image of Lady Flare, Mew, appears on the screen. Sadly, all he could do was wait to tell everybody the bad news.

And so, our cute pink kitty never even got a chance to use her telepethy.

I was told lancer is Persian, but Persian can't be detected by Pikachu. However, if a member of the Rockets is targeted by Pikachu AND Darkrai targets Pikachu, Pikachu gets another Rocket members role instead of their actual role.

You're misunderstanding how your role works. I'm not entirely clear on it myself, but the word 'reversed' makes me think that you've actually just confirmed my innocence; I think you'd receive a Rocket role for an innocent player and an Innocent role for a Rocket player (once Darkrai targets you, that is). The other possibility is that Darkrai targeting you means that the role you receive is randomized from all possible roles (maybe excluding the actual role?). Feral, please confirm.

The way you've described it would make zero sense whatsoever, as it would mean Darkrai targeting Pikachu actually doesn't do the Rockets any good at all since they still show up guilty.

If Pikachu gets targeted by Darkrai, they get a random role on the opposite side of the game. If the target was town sided, Pikachu gets a mafia role, and vice versa.

Of course, there may be other factors.

Sorry, Feral. It's been a busy weekend, so I haven't had much time to check in here. And yeah, the 48 hour rounds feel so fast, although the 72 ones always seemed sooooo long...

We can't really afford another day of No Kill...unfortunately, most people have been pretty quiet so we don't even really have a lot to go on. I'll have to look through what we have, but I don't really have any strong suspicions still. Might be a good time to start taking a look at the less active players since this is the type of game a Mafia player/players could fly under the radar.
