You enter into a large cylindrical room that extends far below and far above, although the transparent floor you stand on appears to offer no way to the floor below and in fact simply jumping down would mean certain death. Growing around the room are a variety of exotic plants, some of which don't appear to be native to Earth.
Central to the room is a massive spire like CO2 scrubber that goes from the floor below straight to the roof above. From top to bottom an uncountable number of pipes protrude from the spire and merge with the wall, bringing C02 into the scrubber and sending breathable oxygen back out into the station. At regular intervals vents on the side of the spire open, ejecting excess CO2 and oxygen into the room. Where the spire passes the transparent floor are numerous consoles going around the circumference.
