Count Dooku manages to get two shots fired - one of them manages to pierce Shadowwalked's head and explode his brains in a spectacular mess, but the other one misses, allowing Xhin to inflict a minor wound on the Count!

    Oh, and a random walker lumbers toward Count Dooku, intending to harm him, but Dooku is able to evade by doing nothing at all. (That walker was always picked last in gym class...)

    Ok, I feel kinda silly asking you this because I'm 90% sure what the answer will be, but I promised chief I'd get a second opinion.

    Ghowilo used all his actions. Chief wants to use his last action to drag Ghowilo so they can both escape into "Jo Nathan's House". I'm gonna say no, that's not allowed, because that's essentially two players' movement actions squished into one. Is that fair? Or would you ever allow something like that to occur?

    I would treat it like combat unless the "defender" made an action saying "allows blah blah blah".

    So in this case he's used all actions and can't say "allows" so it's a combat roll. The reason is because Chief is attempting to do something to another player that hasn't been consented to(let's not quote this out of context) so it's classified under combat just without any injuries/harm inflicted.

    You don't have to stick strictly to how I do things if you don't want to. I'd prefer it if hosts at least stick to the basics of combat/defends/chance/etc rolls where obvious (in the interest of fairness) but beyond that you can deal with things how you want

  • Odds are only a small number of them are near the water jug bomb, if at all
  • Judgement call - I will say AT MOST there might be 25 zombies close enough to the bomb to be killed
  • Ergo, I will roll the die and divide by 4 to determine how many zombies die in the explosion.

    How I handle movement for MRU:

    Situation 1- Your example where combat is going on in a room and players want to go there.

    Allow movement in the MRU.

    Situation 2- Combat is involve (either attacking or being attacked)

    Postpone movement to end of round if it doesn't conflict with end of round movement stuff below).

    How I handle movement for end of round update:

    Situation 1- Player 1 attacks Player 2

    Allow both players to engage in whatever movement they have UNLESS player 2 receives an injury that would prevent it (death?)

    Situation 2- Player 1 attacks Player 2 who also attacks Player 1

    They become "locked in combat" and any movements either of them tried simply fail.

    Situation 3- Player 1 Attacks Player 2 Attacks Player 3 Attacks Player 1

    Same as above, everyone is attacking & being attacked so they become locked in combat even though they didn't attack their attacker.

    Situation 4- Player 1 and Player 2 Attack Player 3

    Everyone can move as usual (again player 3 would be subjected to injury rules).



    So for MRU ask yourself "are they currently in combat?". If yes, postpone movement until end of round. If no, move them.

    For end of round ask yourself "are they attacking and being attacked?". If yes, don't move them. If no, let them move.

    'Logic rules' overrule these of course. If someone just died they can't move. If someone lost all their limbs they can't move. (plus less dramatic stuff like being temporarily disabled or whatever).
