Continued from [p:65183]

Day 3.

In the middle of the night... Someone's house went up in flames! Errr... Well, not exactly. He wish his house would have gone up in flames, but he awoke to seeing someone at his bedroom door. The man at the door grabbed his neck and choked him to death. Poor chiefsonny, the Arsonist, was no more.

Additionally, on the other side of town, tires could be heard screeching away from a house. white lancer was frightened by the noise and needed to take a nice warm bath to soothe his nerves. Unfortunately, he didn't realize that his bathtub had been rigged! A toaster fell in from the ceiling and he was electrocuted to death. Ah, poor white lancer, the Townie.

I disagree... The game is about attention to detail and it's NOT difficult to pay attention to. I was silenced on the first day of my first game and I noticed it. People should be punished for not paying attention to detail, plus it's a useful way for the mafia to get an extra kill which ok for that specific game's town side is annoying (it's now happened to me twice on the town side) but I don't think it's unfair.

Well... I don't even know what to say without the sensor. I was banking on a sensor/doc combo to narrow things down. At this point, I guess I'll let the finger pointing start and then make a decision.

I see no reason why any of the people that have been voted for seem suspicious. Like, why is Redack such a big suspicion? I feel as though there is a chance that Roxas could be mafia based on his solid voting on Kyon for reasons unknown.

And I'm starting to question #85 as well. Last round he questioned Roxas' decision on Kyon and now he is suddenly open to the idea.

I'm not accusing anyone, I'm just throwing things out there that I have noticed.

#85 has had relatively little input in this game, he mostly just casts votes with a little commentary.

Roxas, meanwhile, has decided that four people are guilty because of Teddy's random voting.

By comparison, me and white lancer had a relatively straight forward suggestion for narrowing down the mafia. A suggestion that, I should remind you, DragonintheShadow agreed with. Now, our sensor (Dragon) is dead, and white lancer is dead. And I find myself in #85 and Roxas' sights.

So personally, I'm more suspicious of #85 and Roxas than Redack.

And given #85's relatively low key performance this game, I've got to assume he's trying to fly under the radar.

Since his name isn't on my voting list...

I might give a random vote but I want to see more people fight, see as people say stuff and make assumptions. Eventually I will guess on who I should vote for instead of making a random vote.

Despite the game becoming more and more confusing, I am slowly understanding how to guess on who I should vote. I hate fights, but, it is making think more on how people say stuff you know? What people say can throw you off to make you think something of which might tell you who they are.

However, if no one gives me any ideas by the way they speak then I will have to give a random vote. But I will wait a few hours and see what happens.

Helius, what makes you say the mafia's after you? Reply 1336683100 is very confusing to me...

I guess we can take a small bit of solace in the fact that we didn't lose a total of 4 townies (3 kills overnight, then the hostkill for talking). Still a terrible turn of events, though... wish he had revealed the voting results in his post here, but I think it'd still have been too early for that, anyway.

Teddy, I'd strongly suggest not random voting at all any more. For one, it seems like the voting system is broken. Not sure how random it'd be right now. For two, there should be plenty of info for you to go off of that you don't need to take a completely random stab in the dark. Still trying to decide how I feel about the remaining players, but I definitely won't be doing a random vote.


On another note, I definitely support a complete ban on dead people talking in this thread. Yeah yeah, everyone thinks they're good enough to not give anything away. Until they give something away.

I made and then tagged 4 posts prior to this one, to test out how things were implemented. Another mod could confirm that I'm not trying to conceal any information, should doubts arise. For now I'll be sitting on No Kill, as it runs the least risk of directly interfering with how we play the rest of the round (it's painfully obvious that, at this stage, we need to lynch to win).

Hez, I was told twice maybe even three times that Xhin repaired the voting thing. And the only info I have right now is that Roxas is and has been Eagle for two rounds? He claims that 'we need to start on something' last round and now he won't let Eagle go. Suspicious pie to anyone else?

I can't vote against him though I don't want to look stupid.

In any case, after the three hours I said I might do random vote. But I am not going to make a new post just to vote. I am going to bed. When I get up I do not get enough info about people I am not going to guess. I can't just guess based on something small. Which is why I am giving it a night and whenever I get back on the PC tomarow to get info.

Mind showing me a post/reply number that I said the four of you were guilty? I will say it again, I have NEVER said that the four of you were guilty. I am a regular townie. I tried feigning myself as the sensor in hopes to throw the mafia off, but as you can see, they didn't buy it.

ALSO I have claimed power roles as townies times in the past.

Xhin has also used this same strategy of mine last game to protect the vig.

thinking it over, I think I will change my vote to Roxas. Last night I was dead tired, and couldn't function properly. Roxas has been on Kyon all game, never giving a good enough reason other than he's new. Thats just stupid. And if thats not the only reason, i'm sorry. But I don't see any other reason he's still voting for Kyon. Plus Roxas hasn't been mafia for 5 games in the past (game 2 was redone)

I'm starting to get more suspicious of Knukles... he's claimed power roles before, but now he's disclaiming a power role? Not convinced of him being mafia yet, but it's more elaborate than he's tried to play in the past.

One other suspicion that's crossed my mind is poptart, believe it or not. Last game he played, he was absurdly quiet. Wanna say he only made like 1 post. He's been somewhat more active this game, which seems to me like is him trying to blend in enough not to get targeted. Seems like it's worked so far.

I was joking about killing off the new players, which I did state after Dooku pointed out it would be no way of bringing new players into the game.


My suspicions list:

Dooku (based on the fact that Teddy changed his vote multiple times after randomizing, which is fair enough within itself)
Kyon (based on the fact that Teddy changed his vote multiple times after randomizing, which is fair enough within itself)
white lancer [Has since been disproved through the player's death] (same as above)
Teddy (based on the fact he changed his random vote multiple times)
Knux (Xhin dead early on, would it really be a surprise? We all know these two don't really get along)

I admit that I was wrong about white lancer, but I'm fairly certain the other four are indeed Mafia. As far as their roles within the organization, I have no clue. The sooner we get these four out, the sooner we can get to finding out who is the fifth member with MUCH better odds.

After sleeping, getting up, going to Starbucks, having lunch, and seeing what was on Gaemtalk and Facebook, I finally came back. And I find very little info that caught my eye. I would think Knuckles is the Mafia to the way he acts but he's always crazy XD

I guess you took the negative point. I make a point and I am a jerk. I try to be silly I am dumb I never win here. But I'm not upset Roxas :) Cause I have figured out that the ones who are defensive are the ones who could be hiding something.

Of course everyone looks suspicious for different reasons but I am putting that info in my thoughts and saying that the small info I had become bigger so now I shall put it to use and well do a vote.

The big issue I have with your list, Roxas, is that the probability of Teddy randomly rolling the names of FOUR mafia in a row is incredibly low. It has also been proven false already, since lancer was killed and wasn't mafia. So if Teddy changed his random vote for lancer, who wasn't mafia, then how can you say his other vote changes indicate something?

The more you push this idea, the more suspicious I get of your motivations, especially now that the whole sensor/doctor plan is impossible.

Well lancer being dead really seems like it would cast doubt on Roxas' suspicion that Teddy was trying to get off of other mafia members... the fact that he acknowledges it then ignores it really doesn't make me too confident in Roxas being town-sided.

There is a difference between being proven wrong about somebody, whom the Mafia targeted in the night and successfully killed, and the town killing that person. So keep in mind after my death, unless something else comes up before the round is called, that that it was the Mafia, and not the town, that killed off white lancer. I acknowledge my mistakes. If that casts suspicions on me, then vote for me. But mark my words, the other four of my initial suspicions ARE mafia.

Soon enough, you will all see that I am a townie, and then the Mafia will win.

Lynch either #85 or Roxas, and have Knuckles killed by the vigilante? We're dwindling down to where the vigilante would listen to any suggestions posted. I've said in the past it's risky having the vigilante killing, but I believe we're at the point where if we nail one mafia, the rest will come easy.

Looking at the votes, I find it interesting that we have a significant amount of players who voted for Ctr and those who did not (including me, however, I'm excluding myself).

poptart did not vote for anyone. Thus he escapes from the Sensor in Rounds 1 & 2.

Roxas goes with Kyon and No Kill and escapes the Sensor in Rounds 1 & 2.

Teddy-son goes with No Kill and Hezekiah and escapes the Sensor in Rounds 1 & 2.

Kyon escapes the Sensor with No Kill and Helius.

Chiefsonny also escapes.

Shadow as well.

I'm not saying they are Mafia, but I'm saying that if the Mafia is playing half-in-half or all the way... these people would have avoided any Sensor data that we might have had.

I'm not attacking anybody for voting differently. Ultimately, it is up to the individual to cast his vote. If that means I go and it is revealed that I am a townie, then it will be obvious to the town who the real Mafia are, whom I believe to be the four names I have listed since last round. And it would be a terrible tactic if I were a fellow Mafioso, protect one who is possibly on the verge of death. At the end of the day, it's a matter of winning the game for my team, and if that means letting go of a teammate, then so be it. And again, it's too bad that I, myself, am a townie.

This is just my opinion, but if we don't lynch, we have a 5 Mafia-7 Townie ratio with little or no hope for winning. I'd much rather have the 4-8, or possibly even 3-8, ratio going into the next day round. Of course, this is all assuming that I'm right about my suspicions.
