I was going all over the place with my claims so I didn't really expect it to work :). It was just so frustrating to know that you were the outsider, and the mafia knew that you were the outsider. I wanted to just claim outsider in a private message with Roxas but I have no way to do that with the lack of PMs here!

But if I manage to take Feral out it's all good <3.

They didn't have to take your word and lynch Feral over it (since he claims outsider), but its enough for an investigation.

Bad play on my part to disregard the VL the first day. I was about to start speaking in different languages each day, too.

It was because you were silenced on Day 1. Everyone in the game was talking gibberish, but I noticed a lot of people would just use gibberish for certain key words like "silence" or "janitor", etc.

I figured that you'd say something along the lines of "I was silenced last round," and that if you did try to gibberish some words, you'd be more concerned about the word "silenced" than "round."

The Mob/Mafia had seriously low chances to start with, because of their low numbers. Why give the town an even bigger advantage?

Yeah, apparently the cop had a bulletproof vest. That was probably why Roxas felt so safe revealing he was the cop Day 1. Since he revealed his role, the Ghoul ended up becoming a cop too. Since the Ghoul's role is now "Cop", they're communicating in the same thread in private from the town. That means the Ghoul Cop can get investigation results and post them via Roxas without his identity being revealed.

Overpowered!!

Why not just call the game then? Pretty clear who the intended winning side is :P

Also wtf is up with the Paranoid Gun Owner? Once you two died, there was no way for me to win with that role in the game, even if I did somehow kill off almost everyone. So OP

This thread is a very familiar sight to me. XD And we wound up taking the Mob out as we went out. Guess Redack is the Double-voter then.

The Voodoo Lady needs to go die in a thousand fiery hells. Seriously, it was an interesting role on paper and I understand that Yeano was looking for more unconventional killing methods, but it basically just killed discussion and made the game a lot less fun (as an aside, I hate it when people make bad assumptions that just happen to be correct. I came under suspicion for my low involvement in the thread, when I would have acted the same way to try to avoid the VL even if I was Town-sided). This has nothing to do with Majora specifically--you're still an awesome player (but thanks for the minor heart-attack).

I really like the idea of having a separated Mafia/Mob but they were definitely underpowered, since either team would need to have all three of their members outlast 14 others to even be in a position to win, which was just crazy unlikely with the possibility of killing each other, as well as the presence of the Cop/Arsonist/PGO. More members were definitely needed there.

I mentioned in the Mafia thread that the Cop/Doctor pairing is overpowered and I'd not mentioned it before because it makes games less fun. I think preventing the Doctor/Paramedic from protecting the same person multiple times in a row would solve this problem. The Bulletproof Cop is probably best only when no saving role is present.

The Assassin is seriously underpowered. It was basically useless once the Mob Investigator was dead. I don't think it's necessary to reveal his role to the Town if he guesses wrong.

The Paranoid Gun Owner is an interesting role but as it is he's basically invincible, since revealing his role to the Town will protect him from getting lynched. As such, he needs to be counted as an ultimate asset for the Town as a known Town-sided role. Maybe he could be better balanced if there were some way to prevent him from claiming/hinting at his role.

I've reserved judgment on the Ghoul until I saw it in action, but now I think it's just too swingy of a role. Whichever side he chooses has a HUGE advantage and it really only throws things out of balance IMO.

I think the other roles are fine and that pretty much all of the other games have been balanced well (there was that problem with the first game, but it was not really a balancing problem), but just wanted to get my thoughts/suggestions out there for the other roles. :)

Sorry for the exceptionally long post. I've been holding that in for a while, and since I couldn't post much during the game I was feeling a little pent up. XD

Anyway, I did think it was kinda funny how Majora was going after the Mafia in his last day, since (as you'll see) a number of my posts in the Mafia thread were about how we needed the Mob to stay alive for a while if we wanted to have a shot at winning, just because the Town was so overpowered. XD

Ghoul may have broken the Ghoul Curse but Teddy hasn't broken the Teddy Curse. In the 3/4 games that he's been mafia, he's always been left alone in the end.

That's cause Teddy always takes a back-up role, relying on people to tell him waht to do. I played to hard and blew myself out(as well as having Majora and Redack pull a fast one on me with the Shadow stuff. I took that bait perfectly.

Lancer, admittingly, was unlikely. A victim of Roxas' tremendous playing.

Taking away nothing from the town, Keep in mind that Yeano kinda screwed the Mafia and Mob. We ALL know that the bullet-proof vest was bullshit and Roxas should have died at Poptart's hands on night 2.

Oh, and I find it funny how Chiefsonny, who was bitching out Poptart for doing nothing last game, has done shit this game. He was easily the worst town player this game.

Oh, and here is another way Yeano screwed with us all that NO ONE new about: There are 2 double voters.

I can still see the Mafia panel. I didn't peek until AFTER the game, though. I knew about Helius because he told Teddy his role on AIM.

There are 2 Double-voters? How did that happen? And did Redack somehow know about it (he made a comment in the first round about there being only 5 normal Townies, when there would have been 6 with a single DV)?

I actually wish he would just give up. The game is just painful at this point. Even Yeano is tired of it.

I missed day 3 because I was at work. Turns out I was silenced anyway (Yeano told me so on IM).

Then, I missed day 4 because I was at work. Then they kill me.

And somehow Xhin, of all people survived?!? Fucking bullshit is what this is.

That's because both of those days only lasted hours due to my blowing my role and Helius calling day 3 early, as the Gov can do.

Your death was just a roll of the dice. Had a Mafioso survived, Chief would have died tonight.

From the moment Xhin revealed he was the PGO, and Dooku's death confirmed it, he became invincable.
