Oh, my goodness, I'm really bummed about a missed opportunity. That last night round was already pretty crazy but the Lunatic missed it and they've indicated they would have selected Roxas...and with the Poltergeist selecting Roxas or Shadow that would have meant either Shadow or the Poltergeist would have died last night along with chief. Would have been so epic!

Oh, and of course, if any of this info finds its way into the hands of anyone in the game, consequences will be severe. Not that I think there's any danger of you cheating like that, chief, but other people will join us in here eventually.

That's something you'll never have to worry about, cheating of any kind is one of my pet peeves.

But you can change that age thing in the journalist report. People think I'm to old to be at this site as it is. I'm 66.

I was thinking about it so I could see how it works.

But to be very honest I'm not sure yet what 'New Role' I would want to bring to the game.

May just wait another game or two and let you and MM9 have a shot.

I just hope Xhin and Yeano can get the bugs ironed out so people don't start losing interest.

I see we still have 2-3 players that signed up that have not posted or voted at all. I think after the 3rd Day round if someone has not participated they should be Host Killed, unless they have told the Host they won't be around.

I don't necessarily think a new role needs to be introduced every game. I probably won't bring a new role to the table, but I would certainly ask the players if they want a new one and take suggestions.

Yeah, you both were pretty close (remember, none of this leaves this thread), so the Mafia were probably really lucky you both wound up dead.

Also, players who literally don't do anything in this game (or who do close to it) will be getting negative points at the end. That'll most likely prevent them from signing up for the next game.

Yep! We decided not to change the random votes because it would look suspicious, but Teddy with his two year old mentality went and changed a couple hundred times.

I forgot that Xhin was dead (lol). It might be better if he takes over while I'm gone since he already has Mafia panel access. You and Roxas would be able to start a new Night round since you already have mod powers (and I'd be able to make you a Host) but without the Mafia panel you wouldn't be able to start a new Day round.

Well the arsonist actually targeted Xhin, I swapped with Xhin. I figured the mafia were gonna kill me, given how the day round had gone, so I wanted to try and hit a mafia I wasn't sure on (I am still confident Feral is mafia)... Unfortunately it backfired because the arsonist wanted to kill Xhin.

Yea, when I died and found out I was the cause of Chief's death I was amazed how lucky I'd got there :D I picked you because you were suspicious to me and I picked Shadow just because (plus if I had caused bad things to happen to him it would've been a plus).

Yeah, I think either of you would be an acceptable alternate if Xhin doesn't have the time. I think I can trust you not to skew it to your team's advantage. ;) Hopefully there won't really be anything that you'll have to do other than change when the rounds are up, though. I left a list of my rulings on various issues in the Host thread so that whichever of you takes over can continue to follow the same rulings.

I'd like to know ASAP, though, so I can notify the players still in the game.

Three things:

1. I'll program `Roxas` in tonight. I'm far far too busy to get involved in the mafia game right now, which is why I haven't even been playing. A lot of IRL stuff, sometimes work, and then when I get home all I want to do is play games and make art.

2. I'm currently not reachable on ANY im service because the one I use for everything (meebo) shut down today and see #1 for why I haven't found a replacement yet.

3. I'm still on for hosting the next game. I have a couple cool new ideas I want to try out, basically something that makes regular townies not as useless and something that makes the game more unpredictable.

Yeah, I mean I don't think Zanic would have lasted much longer anyway (and it works out that he died because he would have been gone this weekend with me), but I think an extra point is probably warranted. I can't really go back in time to fix it, so yeah. Just rushing too much to get the Night round started and I missed the Governor's post...I'd gotten out of the habit of checking it since it's been quiet this game.

Something else. I know that white lancer has been working hard at being the host, and so no disrespect is intended here:

That said, Not knowing that the Governor had decided to cancel all kills was a huge mistake, and could have been a game changer, especially when the town found out about it the next day and started blaming everyone, and it would have kept Zanic in the game.

It's things like this that make me wonder if I ever want to Host.

And you also have to ask yourself, why would the Governor do that, unless Teddy's the gov and this is his way of striking back

I gunned for #85 last night because something he said made me think he was the doctor. If I was right and the coin landed right, the town would have lost the doctor and the cop, leaving Luxray unexposed and the Mafia better off. Sadly it didn't work out and now it seems the Mafia is screwed.

I'm too lazy to go back an get exact quotes but you said something on day one that made me a bit suspicious, then on day 2 after chief died your first reply just seemed like a really forced "oh no not chief!". You said a few things after that, but by that point I was already sure of your guilt.

I really am surprised no one else picked up on it (I think dooku did but his comment seemed to go ignored).

It was a similar situation with Roxas, the way he was talking in day 1 made me suspicious of him. Then in day 2 when the journalist revealed he'd visited me I took a gamble and assumed he was the hooker (as if he was mafia like I was assuming, then he could only be the hooker).

Chief I couldn't say if I'd have worked him out, his death on night 1 by the mafia left me just assuming he was innocent. I did wonder if I'd caused his death, but I figured at the time the chances of that were so slim that it was best to assume I hadnt't.

Zanic, meh I just am always suspicious of people that are quiet in this game. I didn't target him at night or mention suspicious during the day because I had nothing else to suspect him on.

Majora, purely gut feeling suspect. I don't know if he said something that made me feel that way subconsciously or what. I wouldn't have acted on it and he's actually playing really well that I expect he'll last a few more rounds unless he slips up.

Teddy basically comitted suiside by walking into the Mafia hideout and saying "I am your biggest threat. Please kill me."

Would have been a terrific strategy for his Fool role last game.
