Another inferno goes ablaze in the night. The owner, #85, escapes with his life.

Unfortunately, the same can not be said for another member of the town. The town searches high and low, and ultimately find the body of Teddy Son, the Sensor, was found wrapped with barbed wire around a stake.

You guys flew through that last day round. I spent that entire time period working and didn't even think the night 3 round would be done yet. Anyway, did we officially narrow down our list yet? Looks like we did, though I didn't read that last post very carefully.

July 13, 2012
White Thunder

guys, but I didn't get my vote in on time. Just a few seconds too late. Any suspects? Any ideas? Shadow did you inspect anyone last night?

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Shadow should have either checked you or hezekiah. #85 was the only other possible mafia member. When Shadow comes back with his results, we'll know who to lynch.

If he doesn't have results on you or hezekiah, then all we'd need to do is take a 50/50 shot and the game will end next night round or day round regardless.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

Oh wait, for some reason I thought it said #85 died. I miss the colored font :(.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

if he doesn't have any results do what you have to do.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

#85 escaped the fire. He's still in the game.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Yeah, I see that now. That means he could still be the Executioner, as well as hezekiah or yourself. Shadow should be able to clear one of you three, then it's a 50/50 shot.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

Sorry for the lack of colored font. I have no idea how to do that inside a sentence. :(

July 13, 2012
`Roxas`

he comes back with a guilty verdict...Which I'm hoping for.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Shadow should have either checked you or hezekiah. #85 was the only other possible mafia member. When Shadow comes back with his results, we'll know who to lynch.

That would indeed be the logical choice. But I figured that Dragon has been pretty helpful, and I figured that hezekiah has been pretty helpful too. It wouldn't make much sense to investigate either of them. Nor did I investigate #85, since my good friend arsonist was going to torch him down anyway.

So, I took a guess at the remaining people, picked who looked most suspicious, and came up with investigating you, MajorasMask9.

And it came up as guilty.

Shadowwalked

Sure wish the voting was set up properly for this round. I'll have to look back and see how our statistics got fucked up...

July 13, 2012
hezekiah

Then you're obviously a big fat liar!

The sensor results already cleared me.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

Additionally, I'd like to file an appeal.

July 13, 2012
hezekiah

The sensor results already cleared me.

They would have, but you too were part of the people who voted for Zanic. Therefor, since Wild Luxray was the very last person to vote, there must have been a cut-off. While Wild Luxray was guilty, so were you, but you were the 'guilty' result in the sensors data. Wild Luxray had been left off. What I figured is that there was a double voter in the midst, or I simply didn't pay attention to the fractions when I worked it out.

Regardless, a guilty verdict is a guilty verdict.

July 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

Okay, fixed the voting for this round. Going to Not Voting so the table will work properly and I can examine what happened with the Sensor stats.

July 13, 2012
hezekiah

Don't appreciate being torched {:/}

I'm not mafia. I am a townie.

July 13, 2012
#85

pretty logical to me. I guess I'll cast my vote. Sorry MM.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

The double voter was part of an earlier lynching, but the ratio Teddy posted still corresponded with the number of people instead of the number of votes.

Last round the sensor results said that 1 out of the 7 people who voted for Zanic were guilty.

There were only 7 votes for Zanic, including Wild Luxray.

Thus, you're either mafia, or some kind of crazy cop that's getting mixed results.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

voting as the cop suggested

July 13, 2012
#85

I would consider it to be an error in the sensor readings rather than an error in my investigations, considering I was correct in my investigation of Wild Luxray.

@Roxas: To change colors within a line, use [g][/g] (for green; replace the g with r for red, o for orange, y for yellow, e for blue, c for cyan, p for purple, k for pink, etc.).

Anyway, thanks to our brilliant Cop...

July 13, 2012
Black Yoshi

I don't buy it. Unless white lancer made a hosting mistake, the sensor results are accurate.

It would make more sense that you're the Executioner and have just been lucky that no one counterclaimed cop--maybe Jo Nathan is the cop and hasn't done anyting. But then again, it wouldn't make sense that you're mafia, because you'd be outting yourself once I'm lynched and revealed as a townie. That's why I think you're some kind of "not really a straight-thinking cop," whatever the quirk may be.

The Sensor limited the number of potential guilty people to Dragon, Hez, and #85, I'm going to go with that once this is sorted out.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

If the executioner used his power when we lynched Zanic, it could explain how MM9 slipped through. We wouldn't get a complete set of sensor readings.

The cop has yet to lead us wrong, and has no reason to begin doing so.

July 13, 2012
Count Dooku

Thank you for that help, Black Yoshi.

July 13, 2012
`Roxas`

No problem {:D}

July 13, 2012
Black Yoshi

If the executioner used his power when we lynched Zanic, it could explain how MM9 slipped through. We wouldn't get a complete set of sensor readings.

Except the sensor results said 1 out of 7 people were guilty. Those 7 being:

Count Dooku
Vandy
Black Yoshi
Helius
White Thunder
MajorasMask9
Wild Luxray

And we've already confirmed Wild Luxray was the guilty one of the 7. If it was cut off by the Executioner, the results would have said "1 out of 6."

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

Anyway, thanks to our brilliant Cop...

{:D}

'Unless white lancer made a hosting mistake, the sensor results are accurate.'

Count Dooku offers a pretty valid explanation with:

If the executioner used his power when we lynched Zanic, it could explain how MM9 slipped through.

When I ran through the votes last night, it was at three in the morning and I was starting to crash, so I never did take into account the executioner.

July 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

And we've already confirmed Wild Luxray was the guilty one of the 7. If it was cut off by the Executioner, the results would have said "1 out of 6."

Unless the double voter voted for Zanic, in which case it would remain as 7 votes.

Do we have a double voter in the building?

July 13, 2012
Count Dooku

to my count we are three votes from winning.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

the Double-Voter was killed and hidden by the Mafia then yes, we do.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Furthermore, your claim that the cop is receiving backwards results only affirms your guilt. It is clear that Shadowwalked has given us true readings. Wild Luxray's death is proof enough of that.

July 13, 2012
Count Dooku

No, it is just three votes. I made a stupid math mistake. {>:(}

July 13, 2012
`Roxas`

The double voter couldn't have influenced the sensor results.

So, results are in. According to my sources, there were three guilty parties that voted for 'Roxas' out of twelve. One would have been 'Roxas' (He voted for himself), and the other two are anybody's guess.

-Shadowwalked (Day 3)

In that round, 12 people voted for Roxas, but the double voter pushed it up to the required amount to be lynched. It still showed it as 12 people in the sensor results.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

it was a glitch, miscalculation or not is a mote point. MM was investigated and shown up as guilty.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Whether it was a glitch, miscalculation or not is a mote point. MM was investigated and shown up as guilty.

Indeed. Poptart showed up as innocent, Redack showed up as innocent (Twice), Wild Luxray showed up as guilty, and now Majora has showed up as guilty (Even if it makes me sad that it has done so :( )

*Re-dead scream*

July 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

And that investigation isn't right. I'm a townie.

It wasn't a glitch, it wasn't a host error, it was accurate.

What are we going to trust? The host saying that 6 people are innocent, or Shadowwalked claiming I'm guilty. It all should be coming from legitimate sources.

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

What are we going to trust? The host saying that 6 people are innocent, or Shadowwalked claiming I'm guilty. It all should be coming from legitimate sources.

Invalid argument. The host said you were guilty, too. Furthermore, all the sensor information has been posted by me anyway. It would be a pretty backwards strategy if I wasn't trying to secure a win the townies. I don't know how it happened, or what fucked up, but I do know that the investigation showed you to be guilty.

July 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

honorable thing to do would be to own up to it. Mafia is down to one. There is practically no way for the town to lose at this point.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

Then why did you blatantly contradict yourself with the information?

We based our whole strategy for the past few days on the Sensor results. There's no way they're lying. Dragon, Hezekiah, or #85 should be guilty by all of the information.

But you obviously messed up. You didn't realize you contradicted yourself in all of the information. You're the last mafia member, and that's the only explanation. You're the only one that had direct access to the "cop" and sensor information, and could manipulate it as you wanted to.

So I'm voting for you.. !

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

Dragon, Hezekiah, or #85 should be guilty by all of the information.

one guilty role left. Not 3.

Um you're supposed to use that when the game is over not before it :(

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

the counter claim you made makes no sense at all.

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

What counterclaim??

July 13, 2012
MajorasMask9

You're the last mafia member, and that's the only explanation. You're the only one that had direct access to the "cop" and sensor information, and could manipulate it as you wanted to.

he was in the mafia why would he have helped get rid of all the other mafia members?

July 13, 2012
Dragon in the Shadows

If he was in the mafia why would he have helped get rid of all the other mafia members?

Furthermore, why would I claim a guilty verdict on Majora unless it was legitimate? People were already suspicious of #85. If I wanted to lie, I'd just say that I investigated him and it came up guilty.

July 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

He only helped in getting rid of Feral. It was all a clever ploy to make himself look even more innocent!

F-fine! I'll just end it now. There's no chance I'd be able to convince enough of you guys to vote for Shadow at this point, and even then I'd just get killed the next round. All I'd be doing would be taking a point away from him which I wouldn't want since he played a good game.

I choose to execute myself.

GOOD GAME =)

MajorasMask9

Okay, here is all the sensor data that we've received. Teddy informed me of the results he got during the last night round, prior to his death. I'll put my analysis in a follow-up post.

-------------------------------

Roxas vote: 3 from Redack, Vandy, Dragon in the Shadows, White Thunder, `Roxas`, MajorasMask9, Black Yoshi, Helius, hezekiah, Count Dooku, Kyon, #85, Wild Luxray.
Roxas not vote: 2 from Trever Leingod, CtR Black, Jo Nathan, Teddy Son, Xhin, Marvalo, poptart!, Zanic, Shadowwalked.
Already dead: 1 (chiefsonny)

Zanic vote: 1 from Vandy, White Thunder, MajorasMask9, Black Yoshi, Helius, Count Dooku, Wild Luxray.
Zanic not vote: 3 from Dragon in the Shadows, Trever Leingod, CtR Black, Jo Nathan, Teddy Son, hezekiah, #85, poptart!, Zanic, Shadowwalked.
Already dead: 2 (chiefsonny, Roxas)

Luxray vote: 1 from Vandy, MajorasMask9, Black Yoshi, CtR Black, Helius, hezekiah, Count Dooku, Shadowwalked, #85.
Luxray not vote: 1 from Dragon in the Shadows, White Thunder, Jo Nathan, Wild Luxray, poptart!, Teddy Son.
Already dead: 4 (chiefsonny, Roxas, Zanic, Trever Leingod)

July 13, 2012
hezekiah

If MajorasMask9 is guilty as reported by Shadowwalked, then the lynch in round 3 ended up with incorrect results to the Sensor: 1 Guilty was reported out of 7 people, which is known to have been Wild Luxray.

The following day (round 4), there were 9 people voting who had active votes for Wild Luxray at the time of `Roxas`'s post ending the round (Dragon in the Shadows's vote was not counted). I am the Double-voter, which means at that point there were 10 votes for Wild Luxray. The round should have been ended after Count Dooku's post (1342117863), which would have reported a total of 8 voters to the Sensor.

And I'll put in my two votes to officially end it.
