The way I see this game progressing is through 'Text-Adventure' style commands.
The "[Name]......" are your text adventure "commands". No actions are forbidden, but the probability of these actions taking effect are dependent on the situation.
For example:
"Xhin......turns into a rocket ship and flies to the moon" would be successful 0% of the time.
However:
"Xhin.......fires a plasma rifle at LLight"
With LLight and Xhin being in the same room, while Xhin is equipped with a plasma rifle, would have a very high chance of success.
For movement between rooms, it is not always guaranteed that you will spot something important, nor will everyone be revealed unless you go along the lines of "Search room". People and main features of the room (Consoles, equipment, etc) will be immediately obvious when entering the room, if the people did not select to hide themselves in advance. Players can also attempt to sneak by other players, into new rooms, and out of old rooms, but the success is determined by the % likelihood of that event.
Successes are determined by a "roll" feature that I have access to, to try and keep bias at a minimum. Determination of the % likelihood is based on the role, the individual, the equipment, and any other factors that might be present.
My recommendation to making this an enjoyable game is to be creative, playful, and devious enough to put a plasma rifle to the back of someones head and take a shot.
