ghowilo when will mycard v0 be ready

Okay, according to Gambit, MyCard will be ready in at most 11.6 work hours.

I tend to undershoot my targets at about 75%, so more likely is about ~8 work hours.

Current priorities ahead of MyCard:

  • Finish Gambit (~3 hours according to Gambit)

    This is probably what I will do tomorrow -- I'd like to finish it all in one go if possible.

    I still have a lot of peripheral work doing planning and such, so gambit and the peripheral stuff will probably take up wednesday and thursday.. Friday is off.

    I might be able to do MyCard over the weekend, since it is the next biggest priority after Gambit. It might extend to Monday though.

    More seriously it's a time management thing.

    I haven't done anything on the site since wednesday soooo mycard will happen this week instead.

    Right now it's only for my personal use. It's been hella useful and seems like it would have application elsewhere though. I might make an app out of it or something.

    As far as gtx0 is concerned, I'll probably start working on it again tonight. Will probably start working on finishing MyCard tonight unless Gambit meets its ETA.

    2-3 days is likely.. so probably the end of the week.

    Bear in mind that this doesn't have full functionality.. it's more a set of templates that you can customize. It's still a cool feature though, a step up from avatars.

    MyCard v1, meanwhile, is shaping up to be a kind of mini-profile. There will be some interactive elements to it and a lot of customization (as well as a continuation of easy templates). I'll probably include this as part of the overall Profile update (Which includes badges, medals, and some other cool stuff).

    My waist area is covered with bug bites, also not a virgin anymore, but if you wait a couple days I'll probably be back to normal and we can just duke it out like two men fighting for dominance in a bed.
