(Not necessarily in the Alpha that'll be released monday, although you never know).
The basic idea of this update is to make post viewing as easy and usable as possible.
When you open a thread for the first time, you'll see the OP and a bunch of replies sorted from oldest to newest.
Somewhere below the OP you'll see [ Reply ] and [Options] (probably in the same area that says how many replies there are.
Clicking [ Reply ] will let you instantly reply to the OP without having to scroll to the bottom of the page. Initially the reply area will be small (especially if you're logged in), but you can choose to expand it. This lets you reply quickly.
There's also a standard-sized reply box at the bottom of the page.
After you've replied to a post through the bottom area, the OP will collapse (you can expand it) and posts will be shown from newest to oldest, with the reply box right above them.
You'll be able to overwrite these options on a global, forum-specific or post-specific basis if you don't like them.
Also in the [ Options ] area you'll be able to show images and/or videos automatically or add the post to your Watchbar.
