Islands v3 POIs

Houses

Houses are pretty ubiquitous -- present in every biome except the jungle.

If a biome is promised a "house POI" that means that houses will occupy some proportion of its unused tiles -- more in a Settled archipelago and less (but not none!) in a Wild one.

Houses contain raw materials from the local biome in large quantities, derivations in smaller quantities, simple tools and rarely, things that can be Salvaged.

Houses are a 3,5,7 x itself grid (pyramid scaling) with an entrance in the middle of the bottom and a 10% chance of a second floor (with a single staircase somewhere along that back wall). Passageways are locked with a 50% chance by one of the Keys. Same deal with furniture. Chests appear with a 10% chance, and Clay Vessels are pretty common, with metal ones quite rare. Sometimes these Vessels contain useful liquids as well.

Unlike virtually every other POI, they aren't dangerous. If you have a bunch of Keys, they're a great way of stockpiling gigantic amounts of resources.
