I feel I'm the best player on the Mafia's team, and I'm not even in the Mafia. I've just been an incredibly dumb townie.

What really saddens me is that I can't prove anything and I know I'm next to be lynched, and if my math is correct, the Mafia will win as soon as that happens.

I sincerely apologize to the rest of the town for making us lose. I've been over-analyzing everything after Roxas was lynched, and I've inadvertently helped the Mafia pick us off. I may just not be cut out for these Mafia games.

Frustro, after what happened with Xhin and Yeano, I have no doubt whatsoever in your innocence. If by some act of God I'm not the one that's targeted for lynching, I will vote for the same individual as you. I obviously suck at picking suspects so I will not have any influence in the decision-making. I just don't want to make things worse than I already have by being the townie that dies for the Mafia's victory.

Well, Redack was right about Yeano it seems. Shame it took us this long to get around to lynching him.

We need to be extremely careful in selecting our lynch target..

I agree.

Frustro

Ok then

Let me explain why that doesn't make sense.

I advocated a strategy in round one where we lynch Zanic, our good twin. In doing so, we would automatically kill a mafia member.

So, if I'm mafia, I was pursuing a strategy in round 1 that would instantly kill a fellow mafia.

I also went after Yeano in previous rounds, after everyone else basically forgot about him. I'll pull up the actual replies if you like, but if I'm mafia then I was making a case against a fellow member (again?).

I'm very concerned about you and Jo Nathan now.

Jo Nathan is giving away a potentially game ending vote to whatever you want.

And then we have you, the doctor claim who has saved no one.

Last game, Hezekiah claimed the sniper role after the janitor had hidden the real sniper. Given your playing this game, I'm afraid that the same has happened. White Lancer or Chiefsonny must have been the doctor, and you and your mafia killed them. You then waited a round or two, and put in a doctor claim we have never verified.

I'm sorry, but its clear now. The final mafia are Jo Nathan and Frustro.

It was suspected that Mafia members might have suggested and/or voted for Zanic or Roxas with the hope of cementing the town's trust in them for doing so. Also Zanic was clearly on the verge of being lynched anyway after he volunteered, before Roxas came under fire.

Ok, so Frustro went after Yeano two rounds in a row, right near the end of the game where things are more desperate than ever.

I am so confident Frustro is innocent I'm relinquishing my horrid decision-making skills and joining him. If I'm wrong about Frustro, then I guess I'm the worst Mafia player to date. :/

But I'm not flip flopping this time. Sorry Count Dooku.

Zanic was not on the verge of being lynched. The town was going after Roxas, who could have turned out NOT to be mafia. Lynching Zanic was a guaranteed mafia kill and I was firmly for it. Lynching Roxas was a 'possibly mafia kill' that turned out well.

Fairly foolish of you, as he hasn't proved at all that he's the doctor. He's gotten a free pass all game without any proof, and its going to result in a loss for the town if you blindly follow him.

I suppose its up to CTR and FAW though. Hopefully they'll see through you two.

After Xhin basically martyring himself, there was no doubt that Yeano would be lynched. It makes sense for the mafia to vote for him so they can say 'But I lynched Yeano in the endgame! I can't be mafia!'

I'm more interested in why you're out to lynch me. You two show up, vote in lockstep within seconds of each other, and offer no reason for it. It just looks like mafia trying to tie this game up with a pretty red bow.

I've been stalking this thread and refreshing all morning, waiting to see what everyone else is going to do.

I've been stalking this thread and refreshing all morning, waiting to see what everyone else is going to do.

One wrong move and its game over. One right move and we get another round of breathing room. But you two throw me up there and say 'lynch this guy' without any explanation or discussion.

As I said in my first post in this thread, we need to choose our lynch target carefully. If you're just going to throw darts and hope you hit the target then we've got an excellent chance of losing this game.

But I think that's the point, you don't want this to go on any further. You don't want us to discuss the STRONG possibility that Frustro isn't the doctor. You just want the town to lynch me so you get a victory.

Count Dooku

Here we go..

August 27, 2012
Frustro

Alright, now that that's out of the way,

I was actually only highly suspicious of Jo. It's pretty clear that Dooku's not guilty, seeing how, as he said, he was wanting to lynch Yeano, who I'm sure the head of the snake, so to speak. I really doubt he'd be a Mafia then. My voting for you was just to gouge Jo's reaction. Seeing how he didn't even pause to lynch you, I'm almost assured you're not Mafia. That being said, I think CtR and Jo are the final Mafia members. I won't vote quite yet, and I caution everyone else from voting either. So basically, we should all make our cases. I'll do mine when I get back from classes, around 4 today, Eastern time.

August 27, 2012
Frustro

Shit. I tried to prevent a game ending lynch of myself by offering my vote to whomever Frustro votes, because I am 100% convinced he is innocent. I guess I didn't really think it through and now it's backfired on me.

I'm so embarrassed by everything that's happened I don't think I can show my face in another game after this. If it wasn't going to end the game immediately I'd request myself to be hostkilled.

The way I see it, the only 'safe' person right now is FAW. Apparently there's evidence from past rounds that FAW is the Double Voter, so clearly not mafia (worth a double check?)...

Jo's basically gone under the radar the entire game, which makes me very suspicious of him. If you're not the other mafia (and really, it would have surprised me if the mafia was lucky enough to kill the doctor night one...) then CTR has to be.

But based on everything, I think the safe lynch right now is Jo. Basically giving you (Frustro) a second vote was a nice way to try and get on your good side (and avoid suspicion) and kill me off with minimal effort...

Unfortunately I've been called into work for a few hours (well, two hours from now). Should be from 1 Central to 3-4 Central... I suppose I'll cast a vote before I leave just to be sure I don't get skipped like in the Yeano round.

Offering Frustro a second vote was a way to prevent my death from ending the game immediately. I wasn't targeting you, I was voting for whomever Frustro did. I've been so wrong this whole game I don't trust my own suspicions of anyone anymore. I was confident that Frustro was innocent so I was going to just go with him, but my luck has been so bad I won't be surprised if I'm wrong about him too.

I am not looking forward to when my role is confirmed because this is seriously embarrassing. I was a better asset to the town in Game 8.

Ok, this one thing is bothering me:

My voting for you was just to gouge Jo's reaction. Seeing how he didn't even pause to lynch you, I'm almost assured you're not Mafia.

I said I was going to vote for whomever you did, so I'm not sure what else you would have expected. Not that anything I say ever turns out to be right, but you and Count could just be playing me hard.

I can picture the Mafia thread now... "Haha, look at that dumbass! He's making himself look like an idiot! Let's get him."

:/

August 27, 2012
Jo Nathan

I feel like youre trying too hard to look innocent Jo.

August 27, 2012
Female Alpha Wolf

Nah, I was just lamenting. I've given up trying to look innocent. I honestly can't imagine playing a worse game than I have.

August 27, 2012
Jo Nathan

The fact that you vote for yourself makes me somewhat wary... its an odd move... but maybe that's what I'm supposed to think.

I'd really like to stay around and discuss this more, but I have to go to work. I'm just going to go with my gut and cast my vote for the record...

Good luck to everyone! Its been a good game.

August 27, 2012
Count Dooku

Squeezing in some play time between classes...

I said I was going to vote for whomever you did, so I'm not sure what else you would have expected.

But that's the point. You were allegedly so skeptical of me up until this round, that suddenly turning right around and basically trusting whatever I do was just way out there. I've been wary of you for a while, but that move pretty much assured me that you were Mafia. And voting for yourself at this crucial moment, when this could potentially be the round to end the game, is something I really don't think a Townie would do. Of course I could be wrong and I'll kick myself in the ass for pretty much ruining the game, but...

August 27, 2012
Frustro

Good game everyone. Sorry to disappoint.

August 27, 2012
Jo Nathan

Good luck to everyone! Its been a good game.

Yeah, if that doesn't scream "I know this is the end of the game" I don't know what does. :P

August 27, 2012
Jo Nathan

If you were truly a townie, you wouldnt try and lynch yourself. Thank goodness, we get to go to another round.

August 27, 2012
CtR Black

Uuugh and now CtR voting for Jo is making me nervous. If you are innocent, Jo, I'm sooo so sorry. {:(}

August 27, 2012
Frustro

I thought the two Mafias would vote for me right away, so my plan was to wait for one to vote and then retract my own vote. But I got caught up in something IRL and missed it by a couple minutes. :/

Hell, nobody would have believed me at that point anyway, but I honestly had nothing else to lose.

August 27, 2012
Jo Nathan

Don't be sorry, Frustro. I'm sorry for acting like such a schizophrenic nut job and digging myself into this.
