Magopolis is a kind of fractal. At the top layer is obviously Magopolis itself, then it subdivides into:
Temples dedicated to: The moon, the sun, earth, fire, wind, water, ice, wood and lightning.
Housing districts for the nobles, the skilled laborers and the commoners.
Guild halls dedicated to different types of crafts and magical professions.
A great marketplace.
A Keep for royalty.
Fortifications along the outer wall.
Several mines -- one for rock, one for metals, one for gemstones.
Farms for various crops and animal husbandry.
A Woods/park.
A rather large university.
A transportation sector. This is always on the edge as it connects to the outside world, even though a big part of it are Portals.
These areas are connected together in the twisty way that characterizes the entire Skein, however it uses Roads that split off, cross or rejoin one another.
