"Alright, the pool party is over!!" [e]Sailor[/e] Apollo shouted to the passengers, still swimming in the pool at midnight. The [e]Sailor[/e] and [e]Helmsman[/e] left the pool to go back to wherever they go at night and the passengers began to get out of the pool.

"Hey, there aren't enough towels." hezekiah said, the last one to get out of the pool. It seems the ship's crew miscounted and didn't bring enough towels... Uh oh... Hopefully this isn't leading up to another murder...

"I'll tell Majora and Apollo to bring one down for you" EvilGuy said to hezekiah. "I'll wait up for you ;)" he went on to say, with an audible wink.

The rest of the passengers went back to their rooms for the night. hezekiah stayed in the pool to keep warm, because staying out of the water after getting out of the pool without a towel is really cold. Huh... all alone at night at the scene of a previous double murder...

*BANG*, *BANG*

EvilGuy, who was nearby with a towel for hezekiah, ran to the pool after hearing the shots. It was then that he saw a scene that would live with him for the rest of his life. hezekiah's dead body was floating in the pool.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

EvilGuy was shocked. He was out of it. He didn't know what to do, but he knew this wasn't the life he wanted to live. He stood there just gazing at the pool. After a minute, he slowly began to walk toward the pool.

He walked into the pool...

He slowly walked from the shallow end to the deep end...

Until he was completely submerged...

And he waited there. Never returning to the surface. Because hezekiah was his [g]Lover[/g], and without him, his life as the other [g]Lover[/g] was meaningless...

RIP... the [g]Lovers[/g]...

The next day, after the bodies were found, the [e]Helmsman[/e] and [e]Sailor[/e] called another meeting for the remaining passengers.

"We find it VERY disturbing that some of you would be so willing to murder people in our pool. If you want to murder people, PLEASE refrain from doing it around the pool area. It takes a lot of effort to clean up, and now the pool has to be closed for another day. This time, we're a little upset, so there will be no pool party. I hope whoever's responsible feels a little guilty. And we hope you all have a wonderful day :)"

The [e]Helmsman[/e] and [e]Sailor[/e] once again left, leaving the passengers to discuss things in the Ballroom...

Well, all things considered that's actually a really good turn of events.

We have some breathing room. I think the mass roleclaim is entirely appropriate from this point forward.

Also I tried to investigate... chiefsonny again!

And got hookered. Ultimately meaningless because the mafia have no way to know who I'm investigating, but still :( I want to know who the old man is.

Yeah, that Vig target doesn't make much sense to me. I guess the only way I could see it happening is if they were actually the ones who targeted hezekiah the first time, meaning they knew hezy wasn't 'confirmed' innocent, but it seems like a really risky play given that the two most likely roles for hezekiah were Lover and Doctor (probably what the Mafia was thinking as well tbh). Maybe they figured that if hezy was the Doctor, he might protect himself and prevent a kill? Still doesn't make sense, though, because targeting Black Yoshi is a safer way to avoid a double Townie-kill. Either way, we dodged a bullet last night having both of them target hezy (being targeted for death three times in one game is probably pretty close to a record, though I do recall one game where the Assassin targeted the Doctor-protected Cop over and over because they didn't have much option otherwise).

Anyway, I guess I'll get things rolling on the roleclaim. I was the Bulletproof Townie, and I guess I'm not anymore unless the Doctor was the one that saved me.

Okay I'll claim also; I'm the nice whisperer who was the apprentice at first but when Cas died I became the nice whisperer. I have only sent one message the entire game, which was "Hi" to both Count D and Hez. Though I can't actually prove I'm the nice one vs the bad one; I never sent that one message to Black Yoshi whenever he claimed that I did. Maybe the mafia already knows my role which was why he accused me? I'm not sure?

well, the only way you in particular could have sent it was if you were the Naughty Whisperer, since he said he received it "on Night 1." You hadn't taken over the Nice Whisperer role yet at that point, so I don't think it'd make sense as an attempt to frame you based on your role (assuming you're actually the Apprentice, of course).

and as claims go, I'm just a boring-ass Townie without a snazzy vest. I always forget to pack something :n

Prosecutor here. I actually did receive that message on Night 1, but waited to post until Day 3 since I didn't feel like revealing myself that early in the game. I didn't feel I could even discuss it without breaking a game rule, but Apollo and Majora confirmed in my thread that it was alright, and so I went for it.

Again, not revealing who my target is, only that he or she is already dead, and I've been merely surviving these past few rounds.

Well folks, the only town-aligned power role we're missing is the Vig.

I investigated Kyon and he came up innocent. Granted he could be the godfather, but I'll tentatively assume he's the Vig.

If that's the case, we've got a GOOD CHUNK OF MAFIA HERE:

Granted, I bet the Mafia wanted to get in on claiming townie early. So one or two of the townie claims could be bogus.

Sorry I've been updating Adventure for the last few hours (and before that I was at work and before that I was asleep and before that it wasn't this round before anyone decides to get smart with me)... Also yes it seriously can take that long to update Adventure rounds, that's how much of a nice guy I am.

I'm a townie. Yea it's a safe role to claim, etc, etc. I assume the prophet checked me and they deduced I'm not a thread (combined with these faster rounds screwing with my playstyle) because I can't really think of any other explanation as to why I am still alive. Unless they're just taking pity after what happened last game.

Well we know there are at least two mafia claiming townie. Possibly more. I'm assuming the Vig wouldn't false claim townie.

Jo Nathan is a problem child from my view. He's been posting around the site but seems to be avoiding making a claim.

Granted, I might be biased because it seems strange as hell that BOTH TIMES I investigated him I got hooker blocked, but I think he's a safe lynch.

There's no way the mafia could have predicted that you were going to investigate chiefsonny on those nights though. The fact that you were blocked both times can only be a coincidence. Plus chiefsonny is not going to be here for the rest of the round, and I'd rather press someone who is here to defend him or herself so that we can possibly get information as well.

Bubba looked suspicious to me before, so he's my best bet out of the townie claims.

I wasn't implying that the mafia somehow knew I was trying to investigate chief both times. It's coincidence.

That said, I thought chief was suspicious enough to warrant a second investigation.

I did ask for Bubba to be vig killed a while back. I suppose I could support it if no one else is on the chiefsonny wagon.

Well for one, Jo Nathan posted in the video games forum a few times.

For two, if you check the 'People' tab his name was all over it for a few hours. However, I'm not sure if this method is allowed in Mafia anymore due to some abuses a while back. Hence the only reason I singled out JN was that he was posting in other forums.
