minigame 1 night 2 pacifist cruise

Another Ballroom gathering, another day of rationality. What was it about this particular group of S.S. Gigantic passengers that was so against lynching each other out of fear and anger? Did they not realize there are actually scallywags that want to kill them on board? Hmm... The passengers had decided that there should be no lynch today.

With that matter settled, the passengers began to wander about, enjoying what they could of the evening, speculating about what could possibly happen during the night. Maestro Bubba once again took his seat at the baby grand piano and let his fingers run wild.

The Bandit and Speed Bike Pro walked back to their room together.

"Man, wish they'd stop letting Bubba play on that piano, I hate Zelda..." The Bandit said, to everyone's surprise.

Speed Bike Pro was appalled by this statement. "Haha... hope nobody kills you tonight, buddy" he said with sarcasm. Kyon walked by the two in the hallway and glared at The Bandit.

Lightvayne and Rapunzel were walking back to their room and found themselves on the poopdeck.

"So... this is where it all began..." Lightvayne said. "This is the place where the mafia attempted to murder Sailor Apollo Justice..." Lightvayne could remember that day like it was yesterday. The heavy fog, the spilled hot chocolate, the ominous shadow of a person fleeing from the scene. The times we've shared :')...

Rapunzel stood on the poopdeck where Apollo Justice was held at knifepoint. She raised her fist in anger and swore to brutally murder whoever was responsible for even thinking about taking Apollo's life. "Die mafia..." she muttered. Lightvayne walked up to her and assured her that they would indeed brutally murder the mafia together. The two nodded and walked back to their room.

The night went on. Who knows what will happen next...

I apologize for not voting the previous day, I had finals to study for but now I'm good to go. I looked back and say majority voted for no kill, which I'm cool with.

Good job guys.
Next time do a lynch. Mafia is just going to kill a town. Vig has to be lucky to kill a mafia.
Game is looking bad if mafia or vig hit lover. 7 maf, 10 town, and prosecutor.

And we don't have to be lucky to hit a mafia...?

The rounds are fast, there are 7 Mafia this game, and there's not much to go on anyway. I don't think passively waiting on the vigilante is going to get us very far. Besides, there's like 40 people on the town side, we can afford a fuckup or two.

Life's path is never straight.

The rounds being fast has no bearing on whether we should kill or not. The fact that there's not much to go on is all the more reason to not kill, because we have to kill anyway.

If we had mislynched today and if we mislynch tomorrow, we would lose the game assuming the Vig doesn't hit a mafia target. That likelihood is low, I admit, but I see absolutely no reason to take any kind of risk since we HAVE TO KILL every night.

If there's information, I'll obviously be happy to lynch someone, but I see no reason to take any shots in the dark. I don't see how you can credibly argue otherwise.

And how the hell would we get anything to go on if not by killing people? You idiots treating it like a foregone conclusion that we'll be No Killing makes it much easier for the mafia as we progress through the game.

Life's path is never straight.

It's tough to say, but No Killing (at least for the first couple of rounds) feels like the right call just because of the Vig's extra kill each night. If we treat the Vig's kill like our 'lynch' we're actually being quite a bit more aggressive than usual...of course, assuming the Vig cooperates. That's why I don't necessarily find Bandit's more 'pacifistic' stance to be as suspicious as I normally would--though I'm still keeping an eye on him--as it just feels like the right play.

If we didn't have the Lovers I might suggest a roleclaim, just to avoid the Vig hitting any more of our power roles and increase their shot at hitting a Mafia member, but it seems risky to allow the Mafia an extra chance to find the Lovers (let alone the Cop). If the Doctor is still alive next round it's probably correct for the Cop to reveal as long as they don't have absolutely nothing (i.e. they didn't investigate Castrael + whoever dies tonight), as they can get a little extra insurance. Beyond that might be a stretch, though. If the Cop does reveal with a Guilty verdict we will certainly need to discuss whether we want the Vig to kill the target or whether we want to do it ourselves--I think it's probably better to let the Vig do it unless we have another good suspicion.

Also, sorry for low activity. My younger brother (not Zanic) just turned 21, so we've been busy. :)
