MiniGame 2 - Summoner's Strife

The Game
  • Cooperative (Partnered) Free-For-All Combat
  • Kill the other teams, or team up with someone else!
  • Win with your partner (original partner or new partner)!
  • Rounds will end and be updated around 9:00 PM EST; this means all of your actions will be registered and processed at this time. Unfortunately, as a college student things frequently seem to come up out of nowhere so as the rounds were previously to end at 7, I changed it to 9 as it's generally more feasible for me then.

    The Map


    Fire Haven
    A land enveloped entirely in flames. Without necessary precautions, you'll get overheated if you stay in here for more than 2 rounds.

    Water Haven
    A land with glistening water that fills the entirety of the room. The waters here have healing abilities.

    Lightning Haven
    A dark, ominous land with lightning that strikes every so often. Best to take cover or you could become petrified!

    Earth Haven
    A highly unstable land, halfway barren and half with towering trees. Mini earthquakes will ravage the room randomly, and while not deadly, they could create some unexpected events!

    The Objective
    With a partner, your first one or an acquired one, you must kill the other teams to win!

    The Points
  • 10 Victory Points to the players that win.
  • Bonus Points can be allocated to individuals based on how well they play, creativeness and other factors.
  • Pity Points may be allocated to individuals if the host feels they are deserved.

  • Elemental Summoner - Played in MiniGame 2.
  • MiniGame 2: Explorer - Visit all four rooms in MiniGame 2.
  • MiniGame 2: Survivor - Survive until Round 7.
  • A Kindest Friend - Stay with your original partner until Round 7.
  • A Summoner of Betrayal - Kill your own partner.
  • Grand Summoner - Won MiniGame 2.

    Additional Rules and Points
  • As people will die individually and not in teams (based on probability), it will be inevitable that people will wind up as playing solo. In this case, it is necessary that you find another partner as soon as you can - thus, it is highly possible you will attain a new partner as the game progresses.
  • You may kill your own partner, though beware that there will be consequences to this. Though of course, sometimes it's worth it!
  • If you are in the Haven of your element, you will receive a +15 on all of your rolls there. You will also NOT be negatively affected by the happenings in the Haven of your element (i.e. a Summoner of Fire can stay in the Fire Haven for more than two rounds, Summoner of Lightning is immune to petrification, etc.)
  • Attacking a person with an element that their type/ability is weak to will give you a +15 on all rolls against them.
  • If you are in your own Elemental Haven and attack an Summoner that is weak to your Elemental ability, you will max out at +20 (instead of having +15 and +15)
  • BE CREATIVE! Even if your type doesn't allow for it, you can always try and take what you can make use with from the different Havens to help you acquire different types of attacks.
  • Much of this game, as implied, relies on teamwork and a lot of hidden things and objectives can only be acquired/done with a partner. Private threads are provided (and will be edited when teams change) to strategize with your partner.
  • You start in the room of your summoning type, so you will not begin in the same room as your original partner. It's nearly imperative to meet up with your partner to progress, though.

    Fire is weak against Water.
    Water is weak against Lightning.
    Lightning is weak against Earth.
    Earth is weak against Fire.

    The Story
    Long ago, two Gods created a world that harnessed different elements of the universe and brought them together...

    A spirited group of people came to possess these abilities through unknown ways, and suddenly they were taken from their homes, families, and day jobs to fight a fight to the death... with a friend they just came to meet.

    What was to come... who knows?

    Round 1

  • And so, the Summoners begin in their battle! Injuries, debuffs, slapped rears, and fallen branches are just a few of the things that plague the players!

    Round 2

  • Summoners engage in intense combat, with a first death to Kyon as he succumbs to his wounds!

    Round 3

  • Castrael joins the land of the dead, and the Summoners once again go at it with each other! Many are wounded!

    Round 4

  • Xhin falls, and Jo Nathan and Speed Bike Pro team up to activate the switches and transform the Fire Haven (temporarily)!

    Round 5

  • Speed Bike Pro and Jo Nathan bring their teamwork to the Water Haven, reigning terror there just after their Fire Haven stunt! They kill Count Dooku!

    Round 6
  • Bubba dies, with Pirate_Ninja and Jo Nathan barely surviving what was nearly a massacre!

    Round 7
  • Pirate_Ninja falls, leaving all of the other Summoners heartbroken...

    Round 8
  • A quite uneventful round! Though Shadowwalked summons a volcano in the Fire Haven!

    Round 9
  • A... very uneventful round!

    Round 10
  • LLight and Shadowwalked attempt to bring down chiefsonny in unison, but are severely wounded by the volcano Shadowwalked had previously summoned!

    Round 11
  • LLight and Shadowwalked die in the volcano! Trever Leingod and chiefsonny team up to form Chiefgod! Two teams remain now... Oh goodness gollies!

    Round 12
  • Trever Leingod's special attack is unleashed and he freezes the Fire Haven for the round! All attacks are stopped there (except for his own!)

    Round 13
  • chiefsonny, Trever Leingod, Speed Bike Pro, and Jo Nathan buff up before being transported to the Haven of the Final Fray!

    Final Round
  • The Final Four, members of Pro Nathan and Chiefgod, began to go at each other just as soon as they entered the Haven of the Final Fray...

    chiefsonny and Trever employed both team and solo attacks on Jo Nathan and Speed, cooperating with their double lightning power to hurl bolts of lighting at the center mass of Speed's chest. chiefsonny then whipped out his Staff of Fire to summon flames at Jo Nathan, using one joint attack with Trever to send a flaming boulder his way. Jo and Speed's armor broke to bits and pieces, and just as Speed was hoping they'd have some mercy, Trever summoned a surge of lightning to blast Speed dead in the face. While they were both able to avoid some attacks with an attempt to reduce accuracy, Speed and Jo were injured... gravely.

    And then Jo Nathan and Speed Bike Pro strike up! Jo Nathan summons airborne boulders and sends them flying towards Trever and chiefsonny after Speed uses an ice attack on them. Admist pursuing several other team attacks, Jo Nathan dives underground and sends shockwaves up through the walls behind chief and Trever to cause spikes to protrude from the walls and from the ground beneath them. Speed Bike Pro then calls upon his spirit animal, Blastoise, to give him the strength to blast a focused stream of water at chiefsonny and Trever, attempting to knock them into the spikes.

    Both teams were bleeding. Both teams were worn beyond life. Both teams had had enough... but neither were willing to give up.

    ... but it was just then that chiefsonny and Trever fell.

    Pro Nathan had won... the Summoner's Strife.
