3) Myrddin Arc Project

I think the best way to handle Myrddin's arc is to have him feel like releasing Philipp was making something right again. And having his mother be proud of him for it too.

And then something transitive when he learns Philipp needs his help, that connect the two vignettes together. Possibly one when he sees the tearsun out in the distance too -- good metaphorical underpinnings there and a dual meaning for him shivering. Should reference his mother. Which would naturally extend to the interrogation scene so the whole arc is smooth.

Murrdom going to Vastwood with Olivia should really culminate his "not a hermit" arc too (merge with other note)

  • Myrddin's arc in 18/19-MP needs some work I think. "It was a lot for Myrddin to take in" is the optimal moment for initial backstory. Also it definitely needs to be linked to his reveal about Xever/his family dying, to continue that thread as far as I can.

  • And Myrddin's arc about not being a hermit is ongoing, first with the release of Philipp (which is getting a rewrite). This kind of thing would have him be moved by Olivia's words. Should literally use the word "hermit" here somewhere, which reinforces his name (ideally with even more mythological connections -- primarily living around animals for example. Also that's something OM have in common -- M lives around animals and O has made them her main friends.

  • Thelma should travel to the grand Foyer both times, not the queenslounge. Tricky, though, because of the timing of that word. If myrddin entering happens before that point, he can pass through it during his lengthened vignette. And honestly, that would help a lot since his great-grandmother's tapestries are in there. That's a good idea even if I find another solution.
