Well I wasn't trying to argue that she was innocent. I was actually hoping that if we kept her around, she might slip up again and give us more clues. I wasn't the only one who considered this, as Redack mentioned the same thing later in that round.

At any rate, I'm going to do what I wish I had done two rounds ago.

I'm just gonna go ahead and put this out there before I go out for the day (and you hopefully don't storm the polls in my absence): I'm on the fence between 85 and Jo right now. Hard. Like a picket-fence popsicle.

Well this certainly makes things difficult. I feel that #85 is the best Mafia candidate, but you'd have been my next pick, Pirate. But if #85 really does turn out to be innocent, there's no way people would listen to me after leading the lynching of two innocents in a row. If you are the remaining Mafia, you truly are in an optimal position.

Sucks Chief died, the evidence really just fell in around him in an unfortunate way. Narrowed it down at least.

Except that I've been saying that PN is my top choice for mafia for the last two rounds now. I was fully expecting to die if Chief was innocent, but him being the Governor forced the mafia into killing him.

All the evidence surrounding chief turned out to be a school of red herrings, so it's feasible the evidence against #85 may be too. But the things I haven't put enough thought into are the nuggets of evidence that suggest innocence.

Apollo was really into defending innocent people and throwing Mafia under the bus, and she defended #85.

I'm still with you that there is too much evidence for us not to lynch #85. Him voting PN right off the bat says something, since he knew PN was my top pick coming out of the last round. Then again he knew he would be the main target going into this round, so it very well may be that he is just a desperate townie trying to save himself.

As far as you go, you're my third choice by default. You have had little to no heat on you during this game and I really doubt an un-threatened mafia would go to the lengths you went to with your analysis.

I voted right off the bat, because I came into this day knowing Jo and PN were targeting me, so I didn't expect both of them to buy into this proposal. But I have suspected Bubba the enitre time.

Look at the Night 7 thread, Bubba tried to divert the votes away from Kyon to Hindenburg. Night 7 is where I also damn near prove my innocents by leading the charge against Kyon.

Pirate_Ninja vote isn't happening, so #85 is trying to shift to a different tactic it seems.

Castrael was voting for Kyon as Mafia, which is why I didn't want to vote Kyon. As we now know, it seems as if the mafia threw Kyon under. What I was saying makes complete sense if you go to the thread and read it.

I had been thinking this since the start of this round, but like I already said, I didn't think I'd convince both Jo and PN, so I was going to save it until next round. I could have easily stayed with PN.

right then, regardless of who the Godfather is, I think we can agree that the town can't afford to waste any more time. This is our last chance to be wrong - ideally we aren't, but if we don't lynch today then we're completely at the final mafia's mercy as we wind down to one all-or-nothing wager on his terms. With this we can at least influence the terms of that showdown if we mislynch. That's worth a fair bit, ne?

I'm casting a vote that isn't exceptionally confident, but thought through enough that I'm all right with it. We're down to a handful of suspects, and while the summary is handy in its own right I'm wary of Jo's info-barrage. There's a lot of indefinite implications of potential guilt, which only serves to confuse the town further and leave us in this awkward little standoff dance we've been doing lately. Two recent rounds ended on a split vote tie, and the other dropped the Governor. I'll regret it if I'm wrong, but I can't shake the feeling that those long analyses are meant to further muddy the waters and give the mafia time to pick us off while we come to indecisive stalemate votes (like the tie he 'regretted' not breaking).

We need to come to a decision before this round runs out, and this is my suggestion to that effect. I'd tell you that you can lynch me next if it turns out to be a mistake, but A) I could die overnight and rob you of the chance, and 2) that's the one vote that I know would end the game in a mafia win. Sure, I could derive a twisted little pleasure from my lynching being the thing that made the town lose, but I'd much prefer the town not lose.

If I do die this round, I'd like to say you should use your last shot on #85, but I'm always wrong so it's ultimately up to you guys.
