8:10 PM- Tuesday June, 25th, 2014.

Heard incredibly loud boom from the sky north of my location in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

My best description of sound is very simmiliar to a cannon blast. Much deeper then any fire work/cracker, and larger then a gun shot.

Weather- Clear evening sky, dusk. Temp about 70 degrees with medium-high humidity. Wind calm.

I tested out the new Mark 77 today. I did not calibrate the flux fusion reactor it resulted in my propulsion system to fail over Western Rhode Island. With the Speed combined with the drop from altitude I broke the sound barrier before crash landing in the forest.

Do they still have flight operations at NS Newport?

If weather conditions are just right, could have been a jet's sonic boom. The Navy's F/A-18 Hornet and F/A-18e Super Hornet fly faster then the speed of sound.

Sorry, guys, didn't realize the index update killed of the "supar sekret" part of my forum. I just wanted to get this info down before I forgot it. I was reading an article about unexplained booms a couple weeks back. And yes, I DO realize I put down the wrong date. My mind is a week ahead.

The military aircraft don't take off from Newport, Chief. They take off fom Quonset Point Air Field in North Kingston.

I didn't see or hear any aircraft before the sound, but I was paying more attention to the book I was reading.

Actually, Xhin gave me this forum like 3 years ago under the condition that I didn't put I didn't make a fuss about it. Moonray stole it for a little while, but I took it back.

Supat Sekret started as a "easter egg" forum that didn't appear on Newest Posts(this was before Mafia/Adventure), but it never took off. One day, I decorated the place an started posting random thought, and he told me I could call it mine.

Contrary to what SOH said, only me and Moonray have our own forums(he has several, but doesn't use them). Any mod could easily make their own from a dead one, though.
