A rather big change despite this list but Francis killing the chimera should make it jump into Aety instead of the other way around. AX forming is a crucial plot detail and Aety doesn't have a great reason to be attracted to it. Besides, I hate the way the transformation is worded. Thinking of it further though, branches of the source Ygg being attracted together is somewhat important, so yeah that could still play a role, but the chimera's death does need to play a bigger one. Come to think of it, death *does* pull minds into the Fae world -- Hayden and Xever himself. Think about this some more and reinforce it. Francis being around to deliver the final blow is a freak accident. So de-emphasize the power the chimera has before its death -- its death *gives* it power. And the fact that an axe dealt the final blow (this happened to Xever too). Anyway, all of these changes would happen during the "aetyxever" vignette. Might as well just merge this with the Hackett and HE fix and make a project out of it.
Adding Hackett to AX slowly, culling off all but 2/7 of its name (itself extra foreshadowing), with the termination HE (which is conveniently his pronoun, so the last mention in that segment is ambiguous) is what I believe I need to get "axe the every".
The chimera eating both Aety and Xever should use the word "poison" and ideally the word "arrow" too. Using "poison" instead of "corrupt" is the easiest fix.
