Basic Stuff

  • A pretty unusual game concept.

  • Text-based but literally uses a text box like IF rather than having a UI.

  • Progressive space-based procedural shatterloopian materials/refining/selling/crafting game. Really turns this on its head though.

  • A good bit of vehicle building/upgrading as well. Heavily simplified though since it's all ui-free text based.

    Generation

    This is the big thing that makes this stand out compared to other game ideas.

    Materials, planets and vehicle classes are *invented* by the player. You put a name in, and t2d figures out the rest. This both makes the game feel more personal and *drastically* cuts down on the amount of content I have to actually come up with.

    In the case of planets, what they link to is procedurally picked from what already exists. There will be one physical link and 1-2 gate links.

    You can't just generate things willy-nilly -- unlocking the next tier of target requires paying progressive money and each generation attempt irreversibly consumes one of the existing materials.
