Well it certainly took a long time to get everything set up, but its finally done! With (currently) 39 unique items and perks, 19 rooms, and various people and cyborgs scattered about a station, this has been just the greatest bitch to write everything out. Try not to die and w/e, and I'll answer general questions here.

Also, don't give away your role in here! That would probably just be awful.

Also, the point of the game is to stay alive. The aliens are out to destroy you, and you don't know who the aliens are. There are numerous things you can do, and the current win mode is:

"Only humans/cyborgs left: Victory for station"

"No more humans: Victory for aliens"

There is no rules about team-killing, and there are no rules about general fuckery. If you want to put thermite into someones suit and then detonate it, if the roll says it happens, you've successfully melted someone.

You only have one role, the room is where you're currently at.

Each item should come with a description, which you can see by going to the room you're supposed to be in.

Oh, Xhin probably typed something then. I didn't have much to do with the interface aside from request tools I needed.

poptart! knows where the item descriptions are. It might have been changed because Xhin was working on a way to make them IE compatible.

There's now a link on "Aliens Inventory" or "Inventory" (depending on whether you're viewing the site in normal or mobile mode) that will lead you to a page where you can see your items and their descriptions.

Also, mobile issues for viewing threads has been fixed.

At the same time preferably, that way I can end the round with everyone having completed their actions at once.

Also my role shows up a second time in my inventory.

That's a passive ability given to you by your role. There are other role based passives, and its easiest to assign them as 'items'.

I'd like to wait until everyone has sufficient time to have a chance to respond (I certainly know what its like to have things come up), but if people get restless and there are only one or two who haven't picked actions, I'll skip them and put them in a 'AFK Stasis' or something.

Also, as an important note that I should have mentioned earlier: Moving out of the room your end will end your turn, with your next turn starting you in the room you moved to. Otherwise people are going to be popping into rooms mid-turn with moves they can still do, and it'll mess up the flow of the actions.

For example:

Chiefsonny and Helius are fighting

"Xhin enters the room, picks up medi-pack, leaves room"

Chiefsonny and Helius are now confused as to why Xhin just walked in, completely ignored them to pick up a medi-pack, and then left without saying a word.

If anyone has made a move like that and didn't want their turn to end already, I'll overlook it and count whatever they say next as their 'actual' moves for that round.

Yes

A cyborg can't start out as an alien, but an alien can eventually 'infest' a cyborg if the right actions are taken. It would likely be considerably stronger than if another human was infected, so it should be considerably more difficult to take control of.

Can we make 'conditional' moves? For example, if one of our commands is to search the room we're in, can our next command be something along the lines of:

"Player X leaves the room, but only if nothing turns up in his search"

or

"Player X leaves the room, taking any items he might have found while searching"

?

At the moment, yes. I was thinking about that too, and I think I want to implement a "stealth mode" where actions are hidden from others, where nothing will be shown as long as the person rolls high enough to not be detected.

They took their actions, I just haven't had time to update everything. Will get on that tomorrow.

Because you already took them, I had to hide them if you're still stealthed until Xhin implements something to fix that.

Since the actions links still my commands from Round 2. If I type in the comments area, then my location will be reveled. Need to clear my action links.

Also if you're in stealth are comments made in the comments area see by all?

I was just putting on the finishing touches, and cleared up the actions list thing.

Yes, so don't do it yet until I can fix it.

Yeah, until Xhin fixes it (if it can be fixed). I'll put an announcement when this is fixed up. Until then all I can do is move your action comments and hope no one sees them.

Well if you plan on including this in this game or any future game, keep this in mind.

When most people think of stealth, they think air planes.
When you talk about it in human terms, stealth is the act or of moving with extreme care and quietness, esp so as to avoid detection.

Not every one is trained in it and it is normally used by highly trained Special reconnaissance (SR) units such as special forces units, Snipers or military intelligence organisations, who operate behind enemy lines, avoiding direct combat and detection by the enemy or they are ready to take a action, such as a sniper taking a shot or a spotter calling in a strike.

You should decided which players can use this based on the roles they have.

    Oh, I already do. Roles with military training, recon droids, and aliens all can stealth with a low chance of being detected (depending on the circumstances).

    Other roles can try to sneak around but have a higher chance of being caught (A scientist isn't going to have a very high chance of sneaking past a cyborg or alien, for instance).

    I think that all roles will be able to hide in a room pretty well unless someone searches the room for people, at which case they'll be subject to the probability of them remaining undetected.

    Groups won't be able to hide at all, because the combined probabilities of them getting detected would be too high that it wouldn't even be worth calculating.

    That's what I meant when I said I wanted Xhin to fix how that worked, because otherwise stealth is impossible. The only reason you were able to stealth last time was because I tagged and moved it as soon as I saw it posted.

    After 4 days, maybe it's time for a Host Kill.

    Yeah I'm going to skip their actions and move onto the next round. I was wanting to wait (Holiday weekend and all), but I'd rather skip an action than everyone lose interest.

    List of Roles!

    GAMEMASTER: I'm the host, and I'm also in a secret room of the station because it's my game and I'll do what I want to. I communicate through intercom and know what everyone is doing at all times.

    Aliens: The main antagonists (Or protagonists, if you're an alien).

    Veteran: Has survived numerous space battles, and is hardened in battle. Fucks shit up.

    Fighter Pilot: Skilled in all forms of Jet Warfare.

    Nurse Droid: A sexy droid-nurse. Heals biological units.

    Golem: A science project gone wrong. It has no allegiance, but would be a powerful ally.

    Biologist: Researcher of all Euthimius life.

    Medic: The Doctor of the station. Most adept in repairing damage to Biological units.

    Chemist: The Chemist of the station, can fashion anything from medicines to molotovs.

    Bomb Squad: Explosive expert: Can arm, disarm, assemble and disassemble bombs down to basic components.

    Tech Specialist: Required for all mechanical work in the station, and repairs mechanic beings.

    Survivalist: Doesn't mind a stroll through hell.

    Weapons Specialist: Expert of weaponry, can assemble and dissemble, as well as upgrade weapons.

    Recon Droid: A droid built for exploration and observation, rather than combat.

    Captain: Runs the ship, in charge of the crew.

    Cyborg: A battle-droid meant to protect the ship and its crew.
