regarding game 27 status update

Just a heads up about the upcoming game.

Xhin is hoping to be finishing up NIFE sometime in the very near future. NIFE is GTX0's new Game System that will be used for both GTX0 Adventure and GTX0 Mafia, and potentially even newer games. Using this system, Mafia games will be able to use a lot more intricate roles and features. Making day or night actions should be easier for the players to convey to the hosts, and easier for the hosts to consolidate the information to be used in round updates.

When NIFE is finished, Xhin will be hosting the first game to use the new system.

While we fully expect Xhin to be finished with this very soon, if any problems arise that push back the implementation of the NIFE system any further than expected, Apollo and I will have a minigame prepared for Mafia to play in the meantime. The minigame will have shortened rounds and basic roles, and the goal is to make it go quickly and fluidly as an intermission of sorts while Xhin has time to set things up for Game 27.

Whatever happens, we'll be back by Saturday at the latest with a final decision on what's going to happen for the upcoming game. Sorry for the short delay!

Hey all,

Sign-ups will almost definitely be going up tomorrow, tonight if we're lucky. Xhin is working on the new game engine, and it'll be a pretty drastic shift, so we can't really start sign-ups until we know if we're using the new system or not.

If it's ready by tomorrow morning/tonight, we'll be putting the sign-ups then, if not, sign-ups will go up tomorrow and we'll be doing a MiniGame ^_^
