Doing the above will be enough to advertise the site on the basis of the stream feature, although there will be some more work to do there to get the campaign working as functionally as possible.
An important takeaway here is that starting after Phase I, each revamp feature (that isn't solely infrastructure) will finish in at least one active advertising campaign.
The aesthetic overhaul *definitely* needs to happen first though, or there's no UI framework to build on and the site looks like crap. The aesthetics are going to be:
Get every part of the site at least making sense
Polish things and add in elements of the original overhaul designs
It won't be exactly like the old designs because they didn't offer extensive customization or other useful GTX0 features, and it won't be fully done when I'm "done" either -- since it's an Evervamp, a lot of ideas will be constantly fermenting and percolating and the design will change and improve over time.
But at least it won't look like crap. And I'll make sure to keep our bottom line intact this time (not looking like crap).
