Metroidvania-ish survival game. Heavy focus on salvaging/reanimation.
Entirely a giant city separated into regions (some locked), hence the name. Very post-apocalyptic vibes, heavy influence from Charn/Gormenghast, pulls in some threads from Magopolis as well.
This game is a bit different because you can't use any of the items you obtain directly -- they have to instead either be Salvaged for usable materials or Reanimated so they're actually useful (like food).
Fixtures are usable in their base form but obviously they have to be placed in the Temple.
Salvaging is a process at the Temple Altar that breaks down an item into one usable form (you choose which). This costs Mortis with each operation (a homogeneous amount).
Reanimation, meanwhile, turns dead or otherwise unusable biological forms (like Bonefish) into living equivalents. This happens on the Temple Lectern and costs Vita.
Magic costs one of three mana types, depending on its school:
Mortis -- destructive magic. Recharges during Nox.
Vita -- restorative magic. Recharges during Solus.
Kaos -- alterative magic. Recharges during Galactos, Ignis, or Tempest.
Recharge rate is fairly slow and depending on what your maximum is, it might not be a full recharge. This can however be enhanced (along with the maximums) in areas you've decorated with various things that show favor to the god in question.
Outside of salvaging and reanimation (which take specific machines), the three mana types are also spent on Spells.
Spells
Spells are found in Jewelry, which must be found. They have various effects on you, your items and your environment, which might be temporary.
