Notice:

During Night 0, a mishap happened. Someone who was not a Rebel somehow became a Rebel and peeked into the thread. This person WAS the true assigned role to begin without a doubt, but it got changed somehow. I wish said person had not peeked, and had instead contacted me immediately and changed their role back to the proper one.

Because of this mishap, some people - people who haven't been online yet since roles were assigned - had their roles shuffled with the original Rebels/Mafia, so now the peepin' Tom won't know who is who. I apologize for the inconvenience, and Yeano and I are going to inspect how the heck this happened. Thankfully it happened on Night 0, so it shouldn't be a huge blow to anyone really.

Also, by any chance you WERE online and saw your role before it was swapped, don't say anything. Do not confirm or even insinuate your role was changed. The peeker is included in this. Don't say anything about what you saw. Anyone who speaks up or complains about this will have to be host-killed, regrettably. That is all.

I had nothing to do with this one. I haven't been anywhere near the Mafia panel since the end of the last game.

(Is this thread supposed to be locked?)

Day 1 begins! Night 0 passed quietly in the Empire. All seemed well that morning on the Death Star. Murmurs spread that Rebels had infiltrated the giant base, but who was who beneath those polished white helmets was anything but easy.

Places everyone!

A minimum of 24 hours and 10 same votes must pass before the Day Round ends. 72 hours is the absolute maximum. 6 votes count as 1/3 of the total 18.

I had nothing to do with this one. I haven't been anywhere near the Mafia panel since the end of the last game.

LLight suspects it happened due to a deletion bug. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone. Hopefully that will be the only problem this time around.

(Is this thread supposed to be locked?)

I unlocked it because the Day Round is starting.

No info yet...So.

Lets get this started

Start your engines! The random voting begins!

June 12, 2012
Trever Leingod

Same as always.

Headed for the beach tomorrow, just for the day, but it might be a while in between my posts, just as a heads up.

June 12, 2012
White Thunder

Start your engines! The random voting begins!

That it does. {:D}

June 12, 2012
DragonintheShadow

Never been a fan of random votes so...

June 12, 2012
Redack

I'm holding off on doing anything for now.

June 12, 2012
Feral

Also I'd just like to announce I am the Outcast. In my opinion the worst role ever... Typical of my luck for roles on this game really...

I half expect to be lynched for coming out with that too, but at least I'll die an honest Imperial if that happens {:(}

June 12, 2012
Redack

Congrats on being converted Redack.

June 12, 2012
The Bandit

And thus Red makes himself a target for conversion. The doctor role needs to think carefully on this. Do we lynch a potential weak spot or re-enforce it?

June 12, 2012
Feral

Wait there's a converter this game too... Which role is it, I must've misread :/

June 12, 2012
Redack

Wait there's a converter this game too... Which role is it, I must've misread :/

Luke Skywalker.

June 12, 2012
Trever Leingod

Why would we protect a useless role that will only show up as guilty to the cop? : /

June 12, 2012
The Bandit

Eh, well... I highly doubt I'll be converted.

June 12, 2012
Redack

Yeah, they wouldn't want you anyway.

June 13, 2012
The Bandit

Well for a start it'd be too obvious, then there's the risk of me not being what I claim...

I would honestly be surprised if they converted me this night.

June 13, 2012
Redack

Lets kill someone

June 13, 2012
#85

Sounds the same as protecting someone who's already in jail, like Loke Skywalker protecting Darth Vader (the characters, not the Mafia roles, obviously).

Anyway, since voting randomly will get us nowhere:

June 13, 2012
Black Yoshi

I'll do a random vote as always.

June 13, 2012
Teddy-Son

The mafia are known to mask under no votes early in games.

June 13, 2012

1st day. Maybe later

June 13, 2012

I really wish there was something we could do about the awkwardness of Day 1's random votes and/or no-votes.

June 13, 2012
Trever Leingod

There's just nothing to go on unless someone reveals something... My guess would be this game the cop will play it safe to avoid the risk of conversion (as happened last game) so it could be a few rounds before they give us anything to go on :)

And I don't know why people random vote, they almost always create a situation where multiple people have one vote thus no one gets lynched.

June 13, 2012
Redack

There is nothing you can do unless you want to hint people of their roles which would be wrong. Yeano just let it be.

June 13, 2012
Teddy-Son

Not voting is probably the worst option of them all. Make a decision.

June 13, 2012
The Bandit

Lol Bandit {:P}

June 13, 2012
Redack

Well since there is nothing much to discuss...

June 13, 2012
Davik

There is nothing you can do unless you want to hint people of their roles which would be wrong. Yeano just let it be.

What I mean is, something fair and legal. Unfortunately so far the only thing to count on is the cop figure and said person is usually hesitant to reveal himself, but if the cop takes too long, dies, or gets converted, the townies are essentially screwed unless someone gives themselves away.

June 13, 2012
Trever Leingod

I swear, this game starts and I don't even notice. But as my usual first-game tradition goes, I say no kill until new information comes up.

June 13, 2012
Shadowwalked

the cop will play it safe to avoid the risk of conversion

Pretty sure it wasn't a "risk" of conversion last time... the cops were TRYING to become Sith.

Anyway, this is my best guess based on what's been posted so far.

June 13, 2012
hezekiah

I must have missed that hezekiah.

June 13, 2012
The Bandit

Pretty sure it wasn't a "risk" of conversion last time... the cops were TRYING to become Sith.

Only after they realized they were going to die or be converted. {:P}

June 13, 2012
Trever Leingod

I'm not the cop trying to go Sith. I'm the double voter

June 13, 2012
#85

I go away for a few hours, see that the Day started on my phone, and have missed the first three hours. {:/} Well, for the first time in the last few games, I'm nothing special. Would be nice if a Rebel were to slip up like Teddy did a while back. {:P} Uh, not too sure what to do, so I'm not voting for now.

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

you deserve this.

June 13, 2012
DragonintheShadow

Just got home. Yeah, nothing to go off of now.

June 13, 2012
Zanic

We know NOTHING. NOTHING WHATSOEVER

"Nothing whatsoever?"

"NOTHING WHATSOEVER"

June 13, 2012
Xhin
Sky's the limit

Since we are on the Death Star...

June 13, 2012
DragonintheShadow

I don't understand why people are being so open with their roles this round. There's still a mafia converting role and this time we don't have a role like Yoda who can prevent conversions. That's also going to make our Cop have to be very subtle with his accusations, because even if he knows all the members of the Mafia there's nothing to stop them from converting him if he reveals himself.

I'm voting No Kill for now, because random votes are stupid and I don't have any particular suspicions just yet. But I think we need to start playing aggressively fairly early this game and we can't just rely upon the Cop.

June 13, 2012
white lancer

As I said Lancer, I didn't realise there was a converter until they pointed it out... Too late for me to not reveal...

June 13, 2012
Redack

Yeah, you explained that, but what's #85's excuse? Why would he just randomly come out and admit to being the double-voter?

June 13, 2012
white lancer

People come and admit stuff all the time is what 85 doing any different?

June 13, 2012
Teddy-Son

#85 had no reason I'll agree, I think he panicked after Hez accused him (and voted for him).

Whether he panicked because he's Rebel, or if he panicked because he's innocent. That's up for discussion I guess {:P}

June 13, 2012
Redack

Because I was trying to play an aggressive game, and drawing suspicion. Then I figured my role isn't that important so it wouldn't hurt to come forward and give us a lead.

June 13, 2012
#85

Plus I suspect the Rebels will just check everyone that claims their role anyway. In the previous game we were careful to not believe everyone's role (I think we even checked Roxas before converting him).

June 13, 2012
Redack

I was the checker, and I specifically checked Roxas after his claim. It's safe to say they wouldn't take everyones word as golden.

June 13, 2012
#85

.

June 13, 2012
Zanic

Zanic has no reason to no kill. We should all kill him like we did to hez last game. {;)}

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

To vote for*

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

That logic only applies to voting for someone...

Plus Hezekiah always does that anyway. Last game I only jumped on it because I was the bad guys but what no one else seems to have noticed is Hezekiah does that frequently {:P}

June 13, 2012
Redack

I was just doing an impersonation of you, Mr. Nuisance. {:P}

And apparently I've missed where he's done that outside of last game. Oh well. *shrug*

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

Pretty sure Zanic pointed it out first, I recall I jumped on someone else's vote rather than making the initial vote (I rarely do anyway).

And yea, I've noticed it a good few times in previous games {:P}

June 13, 2012
Redack

Hm... interesting, I guess. I mean, I wouldn't use it, but interesting.

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

Indeed, so how's the weather?

June 13, 2012
Redack

Pretty well, surprisingly. Sky is starting to get a bit dark, but typical Florida weather. How's it for you?

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

RAIN... GREY CLOUDS...

The usual weather befitting of someone of my level of evil (and also the general area I live in...)

June 13, 2012
Redack

Same here. Hasn't stormed just yet. {:/} C'MON RAIN, WE WANT (and need) YOU!

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

This death star seems to be lacking people of conversation {:(}

June 13, 2012
Redack

I am tired maybe if you could wake me up I'd talk more.

June 13, 2012
Teddy-Son

It is quite odd, especially for the game itself. {:s}

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

Maybe it's because there's no Knuckles around to stimulate us...

June 13, 2012
Black Yoshi

Yeah...this round isn't going anywhere fast. {:s}

June 13, 2012
Zanic

Maybe the first day should have a shorter time limit or require less votes to get a kill. It might expose some dudes early on who want to score an easy kill. At the very least the boring part won't last as long.

June 13, 2012
The Bandit

Methinks you are right, Black Yoshi.

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

If people voted No Kill instead of Not Voting (another vote option that shouldn't exist)... I mean some people pick not voting (which doesnt count towards anything) and then moan when it takes ages {:?}

June 13, 2012
Redack

Yeah, and with nothing to go off of right now...

June 13, 2012
`Roxas`

Sorry, guys. I whacked my head yesterday afternoon, and been dealing with splitting headaches all day. Skipping church tonight, and going to the doctor on Friday to make sure there isn't a serious problem.

I am NOT the cop. I beg whoever is Luke to attempt conversion, just so that you will be revealed.

I don't think there is a spy role this game. Trever was nervous about giving the Godfather role to much power.

Should I go ahead and vote No Kill? The 24 hour limit will expire in a half hour.

June 13, 2012
Feral

NVM, the Han Solo role in the spy. I'll just keep Silent now...

June 13, 2012
Feral

If people voted No Kill instead of Not Voting (another vote option that shouldn't exist).

{:P}Now you happy

June 13, 2012
chiefsonny

Well, that's that. So long as things stay they same for the next 20 mins, the round will end.

June 13, 2012
Feral

Not voting expresses a very distinct vote from no kill though. I mean, they're just completely different things.

June 13, 2012
The Bandit

Not Voting isn't even a vote, you might as well just not vote...

Plus this early in the game if you've no one specific to vote for you might as well vote no kill.
