Time to register for the game! Please have a look at the Star Wars Republic/Empire document above to see how the rules have changed a bit. Please note we are playing "Republic" rules this time around.
I hope you all will enjoy this version, and Yeano can have a nice break in the mean time {:D}
Trever, this is a Host thread, so no one will be able to read it except for Hosts. What I suggest you do is copy and paste your thread information into a reply here, then use the "Split" moderator tool to split it off as a new thread.
That's how I always get threads that are visible to everyone.
Okay Trever, here's the situation as I understand it.
You went to bed shortly after 11:04. All night choices with the exception of the Sith kill were made (silence, convert, investigate by the mafia; vigilante, Yoda, arsonist for the Jedi). Feral sees this fact, and decides to make a post letting the Sith know this. Based on the choices made at the time he saw them, the game would have ended with any sith kill choice except for Zanic (Yoda, chose to save himself). Both Bandit (vigilante) and Shadowwalked (arsonist) originally targeted Roxas.
After Feral looked at the Arsonist thread, but before making the post telling the Sith, Shadowwalked changed his target from Roxas to White Lancer. However, Feral didn't notice this change. Breakdown as of the start of the night round was 6 Sith (Dark Lord, Dooku, Spy, Probe Droid, Grievous, Silencer) against 8 Jedi (Jedi x 4, Arsonist, Vigilante, Yoda, Governor).
Dark Lord converts White Thunder.
Dooku has no impact during night rounds.
Spy has no impact during night rounds.
Probe Droid hides Roxas.
Grievous has no impact during night rounds.
Silencer targets Bandit.
Yoda saved himself, a non-issue.
Governor has no impact during night rounds.
Vigilante targeted Roxas.
Arsonist first thought of Roxas. That would've put the ratio at 6-6, a Sith win (Thunder replacing the deceased Roxas, Shadowwalked dies as well).
Arsonist changed, however, to White Lancer. Action priority order means that the vigilante would kill Roxas (Grievous / thug), so Shadowwalked's arsonist kill would not be redirected to Roxas. This means Lancer would die with a successful (heads) roll.
With a successful (heads) roll, the ratio would stand at 5-6. The game would then continue. A failed (tails) roll would end the game, with the ratio staying at 6-6. I talked with Yeano on AIM, first catching him up on this situation. I figured that he, as executive host, would be able to make a decision. He left final say up to you, Trever, but did make a preliminary flip in the arsonist thread. I was of the opinion that Yeano's roll -- whatever it ended up as -- should be used as the official one for tonight, so that we (mostly me, it's seeming) could try to figure out how to continue.
With the roll coming up as Tails, that'd mean no kill and therefore an end to the game if you chose to accept it. If not, re-roll in the Arsonist thread and use that as the official result.
I re-flipped the coin, Lancer still survives. It seems the game is over. I guess that's best, as it would have just been prolonged anyway. I have a feeling the Sith were still in the clear.
