You are the bandits that are taking over this train and not any one of these here passengers can tell you any different!

Your ring leader is the great Jesse James himself, who is played by our nasty friend Hindenburg. This role is equal to the Godfather.

And what's a gang without a person that can keep our enemies quiet? Our Silencer is the oddly polite Bill Miner who is played by our vile friend chiefsonny! "Hands up!"

Of course, there are bodies that have to be hidden once in a while... Our lazy clean-up guy is Butch Cassidy who is played by our despicable friend Chaos Incarnate.

Last but certainly not least, every man in power needs underlings to rest his feet upon! Meet our contemptible Bandits, Speed Bike Pro and Jo Nathan!

Pretty sure Feral is just a townie trying to lure us into killing him with that subtle Lover claim. So he shouldn't be a target for any of our actions tonight. Then again, maybe he is actually a Lover but I know he has a tendency to try to spring traps like that when he's town-sided.

How do I always end up being mafia? Not that I'm complaining, it's interesting. Just... odd.

Well, if no one else is going to vote up to now:

I vote to kill Pirate_Ninja. As we have seen, he is very observant. and from what I have seen, he has been the primary reason for the victory of townies as well as mafia in different games. Better to get him out of the way imo so that we don't end with a sherlock holmes ruining everything.

I'll also choose to hide Pirate_Ninja's body unless something changes and I make it back in time. I assume my role functions as a janitor entirely, correct? How many times am I allowed to hide bodies?

I think Feral is one of the Lover's. Based on what he wrote in his post, I doubt he read the new twist on the lover ans assumes they will both die.

As for our kill. PN is a good choice as there's no doubt he's a excellent player. But hezy would also be a good choice.
That said, I will vote with the majority.

I think chief would be a decent choice for silencing as well.

I would think silence hez now and kill him later, but on the other hand he's usually pretty quiet anyway.

Well hezy does not talk a lot so using a silence on him may be a waste at this time where a kill will get him out of the game.

After giving some thought to what Chaos Incarnate posted above, PN and others are going to think the same thing and may be bad for the Mafia game in the long run.

We know how good he is and we can get him at anytime. So let's throw them a curve.

For now I suggest this:

I forget how this works. But are you supposed to change the ratio: numbers when you hide a body? Defeats the purpose in a way. Although they don't know who, they do are able to tell it was a townies.

chief raises a good point. In a conventional two-party game (town and mafia), I don't think it'd matter but since this game utilizes a third-party role (Novelist), changing the ratio does reveal that we killed a town-sided role which is more info than they're supposed to glean from that.

A small mistake but I won't hold it against FAW. I don't think it'll matter much in the long run.

Just an idea for a strategy we could employ at some point:

I claim Watcher, yada yada yada, and then you guys kill me and hide the body barring Doctor interference. I'm only a Bandit so the team wouldn't be losing much by offing me. Before I die, I could feed some feigned Watcher results to the town which people would probably doubt at first given the Janitor's presence in this game but killing me would lend my fake results a little more credence.

I didn't think this through very much beyond conceiving le epik trickster strategies to fool the town so any input is very much appreciated.

-I also disagree with Jo Nathan about Ghowilo. Although his analysis was not correct, the fact that he gave such a detailed post at all at this point in the game leads me to believe that he's more likely to be innocent. It just usually isn't in the mafia MO to make a post of that kind this early.

Either way, I think we should be killing Pirate_Ninja now since the town knows he is than likely on their side before he has a chance to speak. I won't be using a hide on him as I figure he's just a Passenger. Even if he isn't, it probably shouldn't be too big of a deal since we already have the watcher down.

Also, I highly suggest silencing Lightvayne IF we know that FAW won't tell them he's silenced. he voted for CTR, and he usually tends to be not that active anyway. It may just be cause enough for people to assume that he is mafia taking into account that Badnit and Ghowilo just tend to be sporadic, and Hindenburg is Hindenburg.

Otherwise, I would suggest silencing one of our own, as that may be a reason for them to believe as innocent.

As soon as white lancer voted for him. The only reason I hopped on as quickly as I did is because at this point in the round and with no other directions people were willing to take, I think the chance of Chaos getting lynched was basically 100%. If he's gonna die, I'd rather be one of the first people to vote so that I look nice and innocent.

Besides, what kind of mafia would kill their own Janitor? (smirk)

Ghowilo and Feral will probably be good suspects for possible lynching. Kyon and Xhin too, if only for their relative inactivity.

There's no doubt in my mind they are the 2 Lovers.

And I'm also 100% sure Ghowilo is Mafia.

Xhin didn't post at all the last day round and should be host killed imo.

Of all the people that are on the list above, the one that worries me the most would be Lightvayne. He don't talk much but he's a very good player. And he's coming back off of a silence day.

My suggestion and it's only that.

Should we take out Feral, assuming he is one of the lovers? It may be a longshot but there's always the possibility that they will take out someone who's innocent with their kill.

Maybe consider doing this after I'm lynched next round since I would probably be the lovers' first choice for their kill anyway. >_<

My thoughts:

I think we hold off killing the Lovers because we know they will use the gun and we could lose 2 of us in one round. And like last round, we may get lucky and all survive the next round.
And they probably expect us to kill lancer. So it may throw them off a little by not doing so.

The 2 biggest threats for getting things stirred up are white lancer and Lady Flare, who will be coming off being silence and ready to talk.

I suggest we:

Silence: white lancer again

Kill Lady Flare.

You probably already noticed this, but you will have to take out one of the lovers before the ratio gets too small because if it gets down to the wire and it's just you and them... well obviously they'll know by process of elimination that you are the remaining Mafia.

I feel like I'd be the one who gets it, but I'm as good as dead no matter what. Also I think if anyone can save the town from Feral's misplaced trust in you, it would be lancer so it's definitely worth the risk to take him out. If he's alive next round, I am certain your façade will be compromised.

@everyone reading this thread after the game ends, the reason I chose Feral is because I wanted to force the Lover kill action and white lancer is too hotly contested between power roles. So by killing Feral instead, I:

1) still get to force the Lover kill, hopefully on someone other than myself
2) can believably say I watched someone else during the night (probably white lancer) and therefore didn't catch the murderer in the act
