Whatever we do for the next game, I think it would be interesting to try name disguising. I heard it suggested before, and I think it could help to mix it up.

Totally agreed with Apollo. We've done it before when we played Epic Mafia and it adds a delightful twist.

If we get Xhin to mask everyone's name and have them use game character names instead, then that would also nerf my traffic observations slightly (or make them slightly more difficult), but all someone would have to do is correlate the fake name with the name appearing on the People tab.

They were called character decks in Epic Mafia iirc and it was super fun. It tears away some of the seriousness of the game and brings it back to fun because people are driven to act as that character.

Alright Feral, your interest in hosting the next game is noted! You won't automatically get to host, but it's yours as long as no one ahead of you wants to do it.

Re: the name masking, I like the idea (although I feel like some of us, myself included, will be easy to pick out based on writing style), but I'm not sure how easy it will be to implement. I'll have to talk to Xhin about it, and if we wanted it to happen in Game 19, the game will probably have to be delayed a bit if Xhin even has time for it at all.

Also gonna have to think up something for the milestone of Game 20...

I'd been thinking of a Mario-themed game myself, but this blows that idea out of the water. I'll have to check to be sure since I'm going up north in little more than a month, but I'd love to play this.

That said, I think it'd be a bit strange if I wind up getting the Yoshi role because then the role would be in my username, so we'd have to make damned sure that wouldn't happen.

The last time I played a game with Mario in it, he was called Jumpman and the game was Donkey Kong and Mario was a carpenter and then I did play Donkey Kong Jr. I think he may have been a plumber by then.

@Zanic, No, not in the total mafia scores. But the points from this last game will put you at 18.

In case that sounds confusing. White Thunder has put in the points for game 18. But they have not been updated in the Mafia Game Total Scores. Waiting to hear from him that the point totals are set and all or any changes are done.
