The graveyard for unfortunate players who fell early in the game... {:s}

There are 73 Replies

The curse of the Ghoul strikes again. But I take comfort in knowing that Redack basically committed suicide by declining such an obvious offer.(I will explain when the game is over).

But yeah, Red is Sith.

June 3, 2012
Feral

Seriously, I was the unluckiest player in Mafia history. I was found guilty on the first night by Obi-wan, and forced to reveal. In order to stay alive, I had to become a second Obi-Wan. The one chance I got to use my inspecting power, I failed to find a guilty party. The Mafia decline my offer to defect to the Sith, and kill me on the second night. Screwed at ever turn and never stood a chance no matter how hard I fought or creative I got. Surprised I'm not more frustrated...

June 3, 2012
Feral

You're a good player, Feral, no doubt there. You were just dealt a bad hand of luck. No shame there, my friend.

June 3, 2012
Trever Leingod

Ha! I see what they did! They converted Roxas(he is one of the best players), and killed me to keep me from talking. Don't know what the Medical Droid was thinking, though. Either he was converted in a previous round or a complete idiot. I am also guessing that Teddy is Sith.

There is nothing more frustrating then being a sacrificial lamb...

June 3, 2012
Feral

The story will all come out when the game ends. Watching it all unfold has been interesting.

June 3, 2012
Trever Leingod

Wow, for once I am not the one who made the game colapse into complete chaos!

I am flattered that they want me back. Normally, I would suggest that me and Xhin swap rolls so that he would be dead, and the town woulndn't lose anything. Unfortunatly, I made myself host to enjoy being a spectator more, and am inelligible to return. Besides, I knew that Roxas and Redack were Sith before hand.

I can not return to the game.

June 4, 2012
Feral

Oh, and let me add that after going through all the threads, I have every reason to be absolutly pissed off at Redack. I guess that this is a game, but he took things to a personal level. If he doesn't think I am fit to play the damn game, I wish he would say so instead of screwing me over at every possible chance...

June 4, 2012
Feral

Eh I know. But I don't think it's really personal, Feral. It would be wise to let it slide and not tear his head off, for the sake of professionalism. {:?}

June 4, 2012
Trever Leingod

If the Sith play this right, I would not be surprised if they won over the night round. Chiefsonny insiting a charge to change the lynching from Hezy to Shadow is actually a huge blow to the town since the executioner already made sure of Hezy's death. All chief did was give the Sith an extra victim. The Sith will convert one and kill one. The Jedi will lose 4 people and the sith gain one. It will take a single unlucky shot from Anakin(Arsonest would be dead) or a lucky one from Fett to end the game.

The wild-card is, ironically, Teddy. If the Mafia attempt to kill him as planned, he will survive and kill one of the Mafia as Mace Windu.

Gonna be a VERY interesting night...

June 5, 2012
Feral

Indeed. But unless the Jedi get VERY lucky, the Sith already have this in the bag. Oddly enough, everyone is assuming that the quiet ones are the Sith, when in fact the Sith have been the most outspoken members.

I was thinking I made the Dark Lord/Spy combo too powerful... next time I may have to water it down so the Sith can't kill and convert in a single night with such ease.

June 5, 2012
Trever Leingod

Okay, so my suspicion of Redack was valid. Big help that is.

June 5, 2012
hezekiah

Hey Feral, you should clue me in on how to make myself a Host.

June 5, 2012
hezekiah

And thus, Roxas seals his own fate! HAHA!!!

I'll do it for you, Hezy. You would need to know how to access the Mafia panel, somthing I can't say here.

June 5, 2012
Feral

It's done, Hezy. Just keep in mind that we are still tenichaly dead and not allowed to post outside this thread.

June 5, 2012
Feral

DAMN! Lady luck is on the Jedi's side tonight. Two Sith members confirmed dead... well, a Sith and Fett. And no Jedi has been harmed. Jedi will live to fight another day anyway.

June 5, 2012
Feral

Anakin choose to kill Jango Fett and Roxas is voting to go after Teddy (Mace Windu/Paranoid Gun Owner). So as Feral says, it seems the Sith will lose 2 tonight. Perhaps hope remains for the Jedi.

June 5, 2012
Trever Leingod

Wow... now Helius voted for Teddy too! And Roxas seems to think that there is no Mace Windu! Wow... they are in for a big surprise tonight...

June 5, 2012
Trever Leingod

And #85 puts the final nail in Roxas' coffin with the majority vote.

Arsonest isn't striking tonight, so once the DL confirms the converting pick for tonight, we go to day 3.

I can NOT wait to see the Mafia's reactions to how badly tonight is gonna blow up in their faces. Gonna get noisy in this thread soon.

June 5, 2012
Feral

I actually have to wait for Yoda's pick too. Unless Zanic somehow luckily picks Lancer, he just might go Dark Side tonight.

June 5, 2012
Trever Leingod

I only just realized that you swapped Yoda's player.

June 5, 2012
Feral

Yeah I said I would in the main thread, so I did. Zanic was fairly active so he was a good pick, I hope. Him and Dooku haven't made their official picks yet, once they do I can end the Night Round.

June 5, 2012
Trever Leingod

Who is The Bandit? A previous player under a new name?

June 6, 2012
hezekiah

No, he's entirely new. A recruit from Jedi/Sith.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Yeah... I want to post in the Sith thread more (some stuff being said that I very much would like to chime in on), but there's already been far too much conversation by Hosts.

June 6, 2012
hezekiah

Well it seems Zanic's trust in Roxas just did the Jedi in.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

On the contrary, Roxas is screwed. Anybody with half a brain can see that Roxas has been lying out his ass.

Teddy needs to reveal, obviously. The town will know that Roxas lied about searching Teddy in night 2.(Teddy could have actually outed Roxas awhile ago, had he thought of it).

Point is, the town believes Roxas investigared Teddy in night 2, so why would he be there again, except to kill him?

June 6, 2012
Feral

The town doesn't know Roxas lied or that Teddy is Mace Windu. Unless Teddy reveals himself and realizes Roxas was lying, he will likely get away clean. The Sith lost one and gained one. Unless the Jedi play flawlessly from here - most especially taking out the Dark Dynamic Duo within a round - the Jedi are finished.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Seriously? Roxas is stupid enough to try and claim that the person he checked(known to be Windu) is guilty? Windu CAN'T be guilty! It's an innosent role!

June 6, 2012
Feral

Roxas: Should I say I re-checked Teddy and that he showed up as guilty, or say somebody else is guilty?

That? Yeah. Roxas is starting to slip up I think. As you said, Mace is innocent. If he says it was Teddy he checked last night, he will reveal himself as a liar. Windu can't even be converted because by his powers he kills whoever enters his room.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Basically if he is not VERY careful about what he says in the main thread, he's in it deep.

1. If he says it was Teddy, they know he lied the first time.

2. Teddy already knows he lied the first time.

3. If he says he inspected someone guilty, the entire town should realize he is lying.

4. If he says it was anyone besides Teddy, Teddy knows Roxas is lying his pants off.

If he does 3, he's totally dead. The other options all rely on Teddy.

I am betting the town wants to know who Windu is, so Roxas will have to say it was someone...

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Heh, never imagined the whole game would rest on Teddy's shoulders. Poor kid overwelms easily.

June 6, 2012
Feral

He's a good guy though. I've known him a long time.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Well it seems Redack's plan might save Roxas... If Roxas claims one of the Sith is actually Mace Windu, Teddy could step forward, but the fake Mace can counter Teddy's claim, and then they could accuse Teddy of being the Dark Lord (since Roxas already claimed he was innocent and the Dark Lord doesn't show up guilty).

I have to admit, the Sith have been very, very clever this game. Even if I reduced the Dark Lord's powers, they might have dominated the game anyway. The Sith have been making all the right moves and the Jedi have been making all the wrong ones - with the exception of Anakin taking down Jango Fett.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

I'm not sure if Redack's simply harping on my "blank vote" because it fits in with his strategy for the game, but I completely fucking disagree that it should've made me a target. Multiple others had already voted for him with NO MORE RATIONALE THAN I USED.

June 6, 2012
hezekiah

Redack is definatly ruthless in this game. He strait up said he would rather have me dead then in the Sith because I am "unstable". Hurt my feelings enough that I breifly concidered retiring from Mafia.

But you have to remember that it's a game, and he is doing what he needs to do to win. Obviously, a blank response with a vote is not a good reason to target someone. Red just manipulated the Jedi into thinking it was. The manipulations of baseless targets will continue with Zanic, Shadow, and Teddy. Zanic because he cast the first vote for you last round, Shadow because he hasn't spoken outside the Arsonest thread, and Teddy because he will likely counter-claim against Roxas's claim of Lancer being Windu.

Between the Sith's great playing and the town's hidious luck, many opportunities have been opened for the Sith to manipulate the Jedi, and they will take them. There is a very good chance the Sith will play a perfect game.

June 6, 2012
Feral

So long as a Jedi is lynched, which is highly likley, the game will end next night round. At this point, getting a seperate executioner kill and lynching is actually very easily.

June 6, 2012
Feral

Certainly expecting a Revenge of the Sith case here.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

#85 just messed up by saying Lancer needs protection from the Medical Droid... if Lancer is Mace Windu, he clearly can handle himself...

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

This is getting downright ugly! Poor Teddy is cornered! With Bandit playing right into the Sith's hands, Chief is the only voice of reason for the Jedi.

June 6, 2012
Feral

He's offering himself as a sacrifice to expose the liars, and they are all being very quick to cut him down. If he was a bad guy, he wouldn't do that. The townies (except Chief) are not thinking this through.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Rather fitting that the Anakin role is being so eager to listen to the Sith 0_0

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Bandit is new to this, and doesn't realize how deceptive people can be.

June 6, 2012
Feral

Well yeah. At least he was cautious in picking a kill so far. He's the only person to kill a bad guy yet, even if it was just a lucky shot. Bandit also pays close attention to the rules. In time, he might end up being a key player.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

{>:(} I can't believe that asshole cut off my head! In front of my kid! Poor Boba is gonna be scarred for life. {:(}

June 6, 2012
DragonintheShadow

LOL! Well Anakin certainly had good luck picking you out of the hat.

June 6, 2012
Trever Leingod

Prick. I hope he gets set on fire.

{:s} As usual I am having way too much fun being dead.

June 7, 2012
DragonintheShadow

We made the other dead guys hosts so they can see everything going on. If you only post here, and want to see everything going on, I can make you one too.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

Looks like I got back from church just in time. Shit is about to erupt!

June 7, 2012
Feral

They still want to blame Teddy for his own death... that's just wrong...

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

If they end up putting Roxas under the gun for his "turncoat" idea, it would be fair to actually commend Teddy for his dedication to his team - going so far as to offer himself up to die to expose Roxas and Lancer.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

By the end of the night, it SHOULD be 6-4 ration, so long as Shadow kills Lancer and Zanic isn't stupid enough to protect Roxas again. Teddy's sacrifice might well have bought the town more time.

June 7, 2012
Feral

That's assuming the Jedi have a perfect night, preventing a conversion as well.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

Bandit and 85 are assholes, Roxas is nice but he stays to whatever he says no matter what and so will Redack. Helius, I told him and he voted against me on purpose just to stop the Sith. Everyone else follows the crowd so yeah.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

The Sith might be the Mafia but the Jedi were acting like the mob against you 0_0

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

Look at the bright side, Teddy. You had some one ready to protect you twice...Sure I was being paid and one of the checks bounced...

June 7, 2012
DragonintheShadow

Dragon you are nice. And I am not upset about losing I am upset about Bandit, Redack, Helius and 85 calling me and idiot and after I was still Mace Windu. I was doing a good job and yet I did bad?

If I fucking said I was Mace Windu early on the Sith may have. Killed me, I was fucking told not to give my power role up after I did when I was a doctor I was told that would be suicide.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

LOL, yeah.

And Teddy, it seems your sacrifice may have bought the Jedi a chance to win this. If you had not come forward today, I am almost 100% sure they would have won tonight.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

So, what was Feral's role? And Teddy I'm still waiting to get paid...And no offense, but I will not be able to take another check. However my jet pack does accept credit cards.

June 7, 2012
DragonintheShadow

For that, if Yeano decides to give people points this game, I would suggest awarding you 2 points for your sacrifice. Despite what the others said about you, it's clear your death opened up a lot of opportunity for the Jedi.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

Feral was the Force Phantom as he claimed.

June 7, 2012
Trever Leingod

DragonintheShadow, I was Mace Windu why would Bubba Fett help me out? Anyway you get your 200,000 credits now. {<00}

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

Bubba Fett, eh? Nice.

I said in the Sith thread and I'll say here, I just want this game to be fucking over with. The immediate "cops defect to Sith" plan was the epitome of douchbaggery.

June 7, 2012
hezekiah

Ohh Jango Fett never mind.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

Roxas manipulated me, what do you want? Besides, the Sith rejected me and killed me instead.

June 7, 2012
Feral

Roxas lied to all us us, he and Lancer were converted. But I would take his lying over Bandit and 85 being dicks.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

How the hell did this game get so out of control? It's a fucking game. I know I fucked up the end, and I take full responcibility, but why so much bad feelings and hostility? This sucks...

June 7, 2012
Feral

In real life it was less complicated, more fun and less fucked up.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

Feral, just drop it for the night and play a game on your DS ([f:GoldenSun]?). I'm working on cleaning things up as best I can, gathering info for easy reading by Trever. You've got some people upset with you right now, and there's no reason to tempt fate any more than you already have.

June 7, 2012
hezekiah

Sorry. I'm just beyond pissed at Redack right now. Might as well head for bed.

June 7, 2012
Feral

Redack is nice but he can be a real ass sometimes when he wants to be.

June 7, 2012
Teddy-Son

For the record, I NEVER played the admin card. That was all hezekiah. I have access to the Mafia panel because of an over-site on Xhin's part that I pointed out but he never fixed. I don't think hezekiah, chief, or Clarkey could access it even if they knew how. Being an admin has NOTHING to do with accessing the admin panel.

I never spoke outside the dead thread until the whole "game's over" fiasco. My only mistake was doing your job at the end, and attempting to end the game without all the facts.

As much as I hate to play the blame game, hezekiah DID betray my trust by posting in outside threads after I told him not to upon making him host. But then, you yourself offered to make Dragon a host upon his death, so even my adding hezy wasn't entirely my fault.

And Teddy did absolulty NOTHING wrong. He was just as much a victim of my stupidy as everyone else.

June 7, 2012
Feral

Well... This is an interesting place that I have never been.

June 7, 2012
`Roxas`

Well I clearly see now that making anyone host except the actual host is not a good idea. I simply wanted to give people a chance to see the game, but apparently the temptation to speak is too great {:?}

I am disappointed that you stepped in as you did, but I do not think punishment is necessary, especially towards Teddy.

I am sure the others will be complaining against you, however, so I would advise you never to make yourself host again. And I clearly will not be making anyone a host, because as I said, the temptation is too great. {:s}
