This thread is for both Drug Dealers *and* Drug Addicts, and thus it is the largest group thread in the game.

Drug Dealers

Your job is to earn more money than the other drug dealers. Every turn you choose what type of drug to give out to players, and these actions are invisible to all other players. You can choose:

  • Cheap Stuff -- get 20$ for each buy
  • Mid-grade Stuff -- Get 5$ for each buy
  • Good Stuff -- Lose 10$ for each buy

    Your job is to convince drug addicts to buy from you rather than the other drug dealers so you can hopefully trick them and earn some money. Whoever has the most by the end of the game gets bonus game points.

    Meet your competition:

    Jo Nathan
    Count Dooku
    Lady Flare

    Once per turn you can also choose a player to become a drug addict. You can't choose another drug addict nor a drug dealer (fortunately NIFE handles this for you)

    Drug Addicts

    Your goal is to buy the good stuff from a drug dealer. Each night round you choose who to buy from.

    If you get the cheap stuff, you get silenced for the next day round.

    If you get the mid-grade stuff, nothing happens.

    If you get the good stuff, you get a random ability for a turn:

  • Tranquilizer -- Makes your would-be assassins think you're already dead (can't die from special actions for a turn)

  • Stimulant -- You can kill someone with your bare hands during the day round.

  • Psychedelic -- A random unpredictable effect. You do become privy to private information, however it doesn't necessarily make sense.

    You automatically use them as soon as you buy them. They are valid until the next night round starts.

    @Dooku: Other players can't see your actions because you don't want the drug addicts know what kind of drugs you're selling! Which unfortunately means they can't see the above post.

    Convert addict is also hidden, although I could change that if you guys agreed.

    Well, everyone appears to be listed for making into a drug addict.

    It should be everyone who isn't currently a drug addict actually. Fixed.

    Damn, forgot about this. I've had so much on my mind lately with final exams and the end of my last semester in college, I've completely forgotten about being a drug addict as well as my primary role.

    Is just one person allowed to buy from each Drug Dealer or can all us addicts buy from one if we like (provided s/he doesn't run out of the goods)?

    It had previously occurred to me that, if one or more of the drug dealers is a Mafia member, they could turn their Mafia teammates into addicts and give them powerups every time. I think this is a fun minigame, but it may cause the Mafia to be severely OP in the long run.

    He's as good as dead (at least that's how it seems to me). I feel like it would be a waste for anyone to use it on him. And if I did have a stimulant, I'd feel much more comfortable taking a shot in the dark than using it on a dead man. I have thought about it, but it seems rather pointless.
