Mafia

Question, though I think I know the answer: If I get the target killed via dinner date manipulation, I assume that wouldn't count in my favor, or would it?

But if the target is killed by outside means, I'll still get a new target, correct?

I have a feeling you know I'm mafia but I haven't told the mafia about you yet. I'll propose a proposition (I've never gone back on my word in mafia when I make a promise, as a way to ensure a sense of trust with other people.) If you keep me alive for at least one or two more rounds, I won't tell the mafia about you. But that isn't the only benefit of not shooting me:

I'm the undercover prosecutor and the mafia will want to kill me anyway. My next target IS mafia and I'm going to convince them to kill them in the next night round. After that happens, they'll figure out that I'm mafia and will likely want to nightkill me. If you send me on a dinner date with someone with instructions to kill me, I'll get to keep my 2 undercover prosecutor points and you'll have a mafia member killed by their own team in the next night round, which would benefit the town.

So this is how things could happen:

You kill me now and you have one mafia member down.

You don't kill me. I convince the mafia to take out a mafia member tomorrow (trust me--I CAN do this, and I have things set up to do it already.) That means the mafia will waste their night kill on themselves for one round. After that, you can kill me on a dinner date. You kill two mafia members, and I get two player points. Win-win.

Not trying to force your hand or anything, just offering a mutually beneficial alternative to killing me and I hope you'll consider it :).

I really hope people understand when the game is over that I'm mostly just appealing to emotion here :'(. Whenever I play mafia and act angered I feel like people might take it as me taking the game too seriously and getting too emotionally invested. But it's definitely just an act for the sake of looking convincing :/. If I can make it look like I'm genuinely flabbergasted and upset with the idea of an "insanity" trait or something similar being in use, I might be able to buy myself another night and use my last Shady Detective use (and might even get PN killed for a point.)
